Khan is a total liar. Before the ULEZ expansion, CZcamsr BrownCarGuy did a couple of videos where he went round with one of these air quality monitors checking the air quality at various locations in the planned expansion zone. These showed that even when standing right by the road at busy junctions, air quality - contrary to Khan's claims - was still in acceptable 'healthy' levels. In fact the only times he found air quality reaching 'dangerous' levels was when he was at or near rail and underground stations. Even standing in the street outside a station the air quality suddenly started reaching 'dangerous' levels when a train pulled in.
So it was demonstrated even before the ULEZ expansion that the worst air quality in London was on the underground. And who is responsible for the underground? TFL and Khan. Utter lying hypocrites.

The disease for me was said to be asymptomatic, it was a 'chance finding' after having a chest X-Ray for a suspected pneumonia - I did however have a dry cough for months afterwards. I figured the 35-minute journey from Euston to where I worked in Hatfields only took roughly 15 minutes longer on foot, so I walked it afterwards.

If ULEZ drives more folks only the tube and we all know the pollution down there is poor then it’s counter productive.
