- GB News host Nigel Farage says the current humanitarian crisis facing Europe will be the death of the European Union politically.
Mr Farage said 4.7 million migrants have so far crossed the Mediterranean, setting foot in Italy and Greece.
“This will be if it continues the death of the European Union politically because the Poles, the Hungarians and maybe soon even the Germans want none of this,” Mr Farage said.
“In terms of what it's going to do to the demographics and society and community within many European countries, I think it is more likely to be a disaster than a total success.”
The European Union needs to come together and put a system in place to manage the influx of migrants and ensure the right people are getting the help they need.
Until then, the humanitarian crisis will continue across Europe.

A minimum wage job paying £50 a week in tax and NI doesn’t cover the £320 per week costs to be a net contributor. In fact it’s an 85% subsidy.

It's funny how people from the Baltic States, Poland and Ukraine had to try hard to get an Au-pair job in 2000 (in Sweden, Denmark etc). I am from Latvia and I couldn't even get a job in the UK such as Au-pair or picking vegetables on the fields in 2000. However, all these countries were welcoming Muslims from all over the world, giving them free accommodation, state benefits, access to free education etc. It's ridiculous!

The EU has become a bureaucratic behemoth that is inflexible in dealing with now problems. When the EU talks about quotas for member states then the EU is not willing to take the hard steps. An Example is Ireland where they are full and expected to take in 80K a year more. What is needed is flexibility, securing boarders, proper immigration management and processing. Lastly deportation of extremists and committing crimes. Ending a persons asylum who wants to go back home for a holiday. Those who do that deem the threat to their lives low.
