I started watching Bobby before I met my wife, and then she liked the channel, too. We met Bobby (and Laura) when they were taking that Beneteau from PNW to Thailand, and we both found Bobb to be very straightforward and "real,." if you follow me. A year or two later, when we were shopping for our retirement boat, Megan kept saying "I want a Bobby Boat," meaning the CT 56, or something very close. When Bobby had that incident in late 2020, I reached out to him, flew out to Beaufort that Christmas weekend, and closed the deal right there in Beaufort. We've been living on here for over three years, including almost two years on the hard, are very happy with her, and it was great that Bobby was in the Abacos the same time we were to catch up!

Thanks for again reminding viewers who haven't seen it of the history on your other boat. We all learn from experience and it's a lot cheaper to learn from others' experiences. I've got two young adult kids who engage in ultra-hazardous hobbies. I made them both watch that video as a reminder that when everything looks simple, easy, and safe, it can change in an instant.
I gotta say I am enjoying seeing the dog in the videos. She seems to really enjoy being on the water.
It's bittersweet to see the ole CT-56 in someone else's possession. However, it's nice to see that she's still in operation. It may feel wrong for her to be someone else's; however, we wouldn't have been able to see and share all of the adventures since and yet to come!

Boat ladders can be one of the most dangerous things in scuba. I saw a diver get struck on the top of his head in the FL Keys while trying to get back onto the dive boat. It was not pretty.
I ended up in Beaufort, N.C. shortly after your incident. Luckily I was able to repair our boat in 1.5 months and get back under way.
Wow they just abandoned the boat and left there and havnt had to move it it a sealine T51 made in uk in fact i worked round the corner from where they were made in middle uk shame to see such a great boat finish up like that and love your channel have done sum sailing
Hey Bobby! I'm a relatively new drone pilot but I'm surprised you don't use the DJI video features more, I can tell you're hand-flying when you circle stuff and the auto modes are so smooth. Have you played with the QuickShots and MasterShots modes?
get the smallest drill bit you can find and use you other hand to twist is back and forth to drill a small hole in the damaged nail to relieve the pressure and you won't lose your nail

Hi Bobby, is your new boat from PMG, the Cora 48? There's an article about the boat in the Pattaya Mail site.
Cape Hatteras is historically a threatening/challenging area for shipping. My oldest son told me that his worst time at sea as a commercial captain of a 130' boat about 10 - 12 years ago that almost met his boat's, the crew's, and his destruction/demise there.
A sudden storm created 20 - 30 foot seas that almost stopped the boat's forward movement, the crew became incapacitated by motion-sicknesses due to the violent pitching of the boat for hours, the pilot house forward windows cracked under the pounding of the wave crashing into them.
He thought he was going to die. He said he felt so bad that he wanted to die, but knew he had to do his duty, persevere, and do everything he could to save the crew and the boat.
Is there any info on how that yacht ran aground?
