Stacey, I have reduced my trading to 3-4 trades a week on average. They're huge trades, though. They are repeatable, and I'm waiting and hunting them.

17:38-18:00 ->> pure gold, always wanted to name such a setup and put words to it, 2 consecutive equal highs, followed by a false break reversal on DAY 3. Gold was the perfect setup, FRD, followed by a R.E to the downside confirming bias. Day2s are tricky. Look at oil and gold on TUE 13/08/24, oil went down but gold evolved into a signal day.

Ending the week green doesn’t mean you’ve recovered as that’s outcome oriented. Ending the day green is if you remained focused on flawless execution regardless of the outcome of previous trades.

My issue is identifying my set up and properly taking the trade. I have to pin point my set ups. I've finally narrowed down my instruments I trade to 5. 3 months on printing charts everyday. I'm way more patient now but I see that backside is my time to see my templates better and have more confidence to take trades

Focus on one thing until successful. If you are struggling you might want to focus on session pump and dumps or Dump and pumps.
I have a confusion on session pump and dumps.. does he mean over the course of three session? Like 3 sessions up.. or is a session 1st hour pump second hour coil 3rd hour dump?
@@hissst69 it can be both. The previous session can dump down or pump up creating an opportunity at the beginning off a new session. Also Stacey always mentions his friend Steven that waits to the third hour to trade which means that Steven waits for an instrument to either dump down or pump up in the New York session and looks to take that setup after 10AM EST.

CL Monday Pump, Tuesday FRD, Wednesday lower low pump into CP, sideways for 30 minutes before dump. Target PWC. Day1, Day2, Day3 Simple easy peasy setup. Look for the easy money
Great great video, I have never heard that "break low of day look for range expansion pump and dump". Very sweet. Know when to hold and when to bail has been a confusion for me. This will help alot. When you say "master a setup" do you mean the on the day setup? Or do you mean signal days.. or maybe you mean both. The whole pump and dump is a newish concept for me and I am inevitably trying to call a top when pumping and trying to call the bottom when dumping... Going through your new examples in play book. Many I don't see any setup on the day whatsoever.. I think my weakness is the in the day part. Thank you for all you do Stace, much appreciated. (I took exact same setup as Steve today) But also tried to add when it was just reversing : was a nail and bail and I was hoping for an all day fade.. 😅

That's the thing though Stacey, inorder to find setups that make you money you actually have to be able to read the market. If you can't read the market how would you know when its its setup right? As a beginner you have to know how to read what's going on in the market. As a veteran you are looking past the stage that beginners have to go through and that's the disconnect. If its timings, levels, behavior of price then by that very definition you have to be able to read the behavior of price.

There are multiple pump and dump/ Dump and pump setups on NQ and ES on the 5 min, 3min, 2 min, 1 min, morning New York session and afternoon New York session on average 3-5 days a week which means that there is at least 1-3 setups almost every day.
I think that the key is in understanding why the market pumps up or dumps down. In other words, is there a gap to be filled. Is there a price inefficiency once price gets to a level that causes it to go back to that level? What Steven entered the trade on the DJ30 at 1030am, what was it that caused him to know that it was going to dump down? Answers to those types of questions will allow traders to start seeing for themselves.
