That CIS Cup win in 2008 was surely Kris Boyd's finest hour in a Rangers shirt. The team looked down and out yet he singlehandedly dragged them to that win.
People say Boyd only scored against smaller teams but we'd have 2 less trophies in the cabinet without him.
Never understood that stick used to beat Boyd. The goals he scored against the supposed lesser teams were the difference between 1st and 2nd. How many dropped points in early Gerrard reign or even last season would have been converted into 3 with a Kris Boyd?!
@@Top10Rangers totally agree with you. We badly, badly need a guy like Kris Boyd in the team right now. He was directly responsible for botj the CIS and Scottish cups in 2008 but we surely wouldn't have won the league in 2009 or 2010 without him.
