Nobody believes there were any drugs involved. It was just a typical Finnish tabloid brouhaha based on a mishearing of what someone yelled at the party. She's a straight shooter and her continuing high job approval reflects that. (For example, her six ratings so far in the poll by the national broadcaster Yle are also the top 6 in that record. The 7th is a 48% going back to 1991, lol.)

we all are mortal, don't miss any faced of life before you die. Marin don't bother, you live only once, you were sober , and you have every right to experience the smallest enjoyment people have!
In the Scandinavian states, the person of the prime minister is irrelevant. There is a consensus between the left and the right regarding the welfare state. Strong trade unions and strong battles for the protection of interests have fought for the welfare state for the past 100 years. Who knows who is the Danish or Norwegian prime minister now? not many. Not by chance. Because it's not that relevant there. It is coded into the political system there. The Finnish Prime Minister is also in the news because he is young and recently because he has been partying a lot. That's it. Scandinavian leaders are gray eminences. In contrast In Central and Eastern Europe, e.g. In Hungary, the leader's personality and charisma, the charismatic statesman, etc., are very important. I like the northern example better.
That's not categorically true, because the previous Finnish minister had a completely different agenda. And if the right wing National Coalition Party wins the next election and gets to form the government, it's back to neoliberal austerity politics. (Ironically NCP edged past Marin's SDP only when Finland decided to apply for NATO membership, and that was all Marin's doing. She appeared to have some influence on Sweden's PM Andersson too. Starting from the way they accelerated their schedule to match Finland's necessary parliamentary process. That accomplishment might actually cost Marin the premiership in the elections next April. Politics is funny.)

Being a politician is tough job. We should admit that we are not prophets. If she has a temperament to do politics then she should carry on. I will keep looking what will be the result after war because Mr Putin seems very trained and disciplined personality. I think ultimately only negotiations will be left to choose.

Actually one of the hardest working prime ministers we've seen in Finland. That's why she is popular. Despite the media's best efforts at derailing the discussion away from her actual work to trivial things. I've counted a total of 9 instances of partying, and that includes clubbing, having friends at her residence, and visiting festivals. That's not exactly a huge amount over three years.
It is her business what she is doing in her free time. Do you really think other politicians in other countries do not party? You think wrong.
