Grandísimo actor, The X Files sin él no hubiesen sido lo mismo, hay que reconocerlo en verdad, cuando lo sacaron un tiempo la serie no fue igual, le faltaba dinámica y cayó en capítulos que perdieron el hilo conductor, una vez Davis se lo dijo al propio Duchovny "el fumador es el verdadero heroe de la serie" y no estaba tan equivocado... Un capítulo donde demuestra todo su talento es en Meditaciones de un fumador, gran capítulo así como otros.
