My dad left watching my hockey game in the next rink to watch Gretzky when I was maybe 8 years old. That's the kind of buzz he had as a kid! A very special hockey player and person. His dad Walter was a really nice man too.

Sure Messier had 6 cups to Wayne's 4 . I hear that a lot . Henri Richard had 11 cups . What does that mean ? Was Henri Richard better than both of them ? Messier was a great player and a great leader but Howe , Gretzky , Lemieux and Orr were all on a different level .
