Did you know he started as a country singer, then also went into blues and rock. And Motown too. He actually was a family friend of the Jacksons and stayed at their house for a while. But he is quite discrete about that and hasn't told much about it.
He has a concert every year of tributes to artists where people can put in songs they wanna hear and he rocks it with his awesome band.
The man next to Waylon is Hans van Breukelen. A famous dutch goalkeeper of the Dutch soccerteam who won the European championships in 1988. Just a little fact.
Not really famous because of his championships though 😂 he was a really bad trainer and coach and even his keeper career was bad. Still an amazing person with a beautiful heart who will not hurt a fly 🪰
Waylon once had a Motown contract. He decided to sing his own repertoire, toen de stopt the contract.
