- This summer explore the authentic roots of Martial Arts in the heart of China. Our program is a total immersion martial arts camp which includes training in a traditional martial arts academy, and classes inside the Shaolin Temple. There was a mid 60 year old man recording his progress going to China and doing kunfu, it's on youtube somewhere. Any age can do this.
Kungfu, folk fighting technique, is also the Chinese tradition of advocating culture and martial arts, which contains the philosophy of tempering the body and mind. This is the precipitation of traditional philosophy and culture in the blood of Chinese people. I also received martial arts training when I was young. It was very demanding and it was a great exercise for my body and mind.

honestly, it would be not easy to apply for a PRC visa which gives u the access to Shaolin.

Please keep this tradition and this invitation to the public open. My son is 10 and is getting his black belt in Taekwondo this year. He is good but nothing like these guys. I would really like for him to have a summer training camp here but I don't know when we will get the chance. We are in the US and I wish you guys would start a training camp like this in the US. Would make it a lot easier for us than traveling to China.
Thank you Sowmya! The martial arts is a great discipline especially for young ones, currently I'm an artist and martial arts coach with Cirque Du Soleil in Las Vegas. By the end of this year I will open a school in Nevada and look for recreating events like these. how long have you guys been training? must have been very mentally difficult in the beginning
Hello, we have all trained for different amounts of time, I was raised in a martial arts family and have been practicing for about 20 years. My first time training in China was in 2004 and I have often traveled back and forth to increase my education and to level up lol. They other people in the video are my students, they have had training from about 4 years to just over a year. I wanted them to experience what training in China can be like. This school is a prime example of quality.

The students all have to train Sanda as a requirement for their education. Sanda is a highly effective form of sport combat which is essentially kickboxing with traps and throws. So if they branch out and add a little wrestling when they are older, they will be more than prepared lol.
Kung fu fighting is the best
Fight and self defence are two different things.
