Don't be fool by how sweet she sounds here she has a range that is unbelievable and she can blow you up with her vocal. She has a lot of live performances, but one of my favorite MV is NEVER ENOUGH which she totally killed me with. She is a great Korean gospel singer. There are many K-pop stars in Korea, but there are many other great singers as well besides idol groups like BTS, Black Pink. Among them, there is a world class singer named Sohyang. She is considered one of the best vocalists in the world by many vocal coaches and singers all over the world. I hope you listen to her song once again. She was originally a gospel singer, not a popular singer. She has pure, humble and beautiful mind.
She never sing a song for the fame and the money. She said that She always want to sing a song to heal and comfort wounded many peoples mentally, physically.
I'm a Buddhist but truly love her beautiful soul and respect her sincere faith in God. She looks like an angel. She always touches my heart and makes me cry through her so emotional song. It's just amazing and breathtaking. I'll always love her forever.

Sohyang was singing in the best show ever called Begin Again. The show consists of the best Korean musicians and singers that travel together to sing in public places. With covid they couldn’t travel last year but made beautiful small gatherings that were memorable. It started again in Korea now with really small audience. I hope you will watch it specially Efran, Taeyeon also was part of the show. The channel on CZcams is called Begin Again.

I love listening to Sohyang singing. She is a cancer survivor and devoted Christian. She doesn't go for wealth and fame but to inspire and comfort people with her singing. She does all the arrangement of her songs. She is a gospel singer. People only notice her when she entered singing competition at I Am Singer. She had on and off pneumonia and stop singing for a while. She came back to singing competition at Immortal Songs. Trying to recover her pneumonia again. Later on joined King of mask singer. Now she joined Begin Again Korea which is organised by TV station to go on road show during coronavirus period to comfort people. She trained in America for years. And her vocal coach was the vocal coach of Micheal Jackson. She's the best singer in Korea, for me. Her technicalities and vocal range is on the top. You have to hear more from her because she's the best
Michael Jackson's voice coach inspired her about "mix voice" but she really didn't get trained for years in America or by him. He was just a visit and they worked together for a little bit during her stay.
She attended a few lessons only for few days impromptu learning from Seth Riggs.

Me parece genial que reaccionaran a esta cancion en su primera escucha de so hyang, la gente la conoce mas por su tecnica a la hora de hacer belting y voz mixta, pero se olvidan de la sensibilidad musical que tiene a la hora de cantar de manera mas intima.
Aunque no lo parezca ella ya esta en sus cuarenta y tiene una biografia hermosa que recomiendo que lean, como siguiente reaccion les recomiendo you rise my up, para que aprecien toda su extencion vocal y su profunda conexion con dios, ya que el gospel es su genero "principal"

This show is a busking show called "Begin Again" in Korea. They usually do street busking outside of the country from seasons 1-3 but because of the pandemic, they did Begin Again Korea for season 4.

You'll know how much you actually don't know once you listen to more of her. While this performance is bloody emotionally heavy, so much of her virtuosity and vocal mastery is yet for you to discover... i mean it, this performance just does not do her justice, technically speaking.
