Damn man, nice work. Appreciate your video to help fix my similar situation.
Glad it helped!!
Thank you for sharing this! I have a new class c motorhome that has already sustained damage to the bottom shelf of the bathroom vanity due to my own stupidity by not storing something properly this past winter. Seeing this video will help me be able to repair it and return it to an acceptable standard.
Glad it was helpful!
Looks great I have a couple spots in my travel trailer doing the same thing. I’m gonna give it a shot
👍👍
Awesome 👌 👏
Thanks 🤗
Instead of prying the trim off why don't you cut the staples with your oscelating tool?
That would work too!
I would have been inclined to replace the damaged section with pine wood. The biggest issue would be to match the stain color (but not impossible).
The color isn't too hard to match, but once we put real wood up beside the papered wood, it stuck out like a beacon - different texture and thickness were the big motivators.
What paint can I use to paint my RV cabinets they're exactly like yours
We used the peel and stick paper - I don't know what paint you would use.
Did you use real wood or particle board. Just trying to figure out what material you used to attach the wood grain paper to.
We chose to use particle board. When we tried it on regular pine, the grain of the wood, wouldn't allow the material to stick to it.
@@DIYOnTheHouse Thank you
Hi there, this video is the closest I've found to my issue. The same warping and breakage is happening to my particle board that fits around the sink. Do you think I could use a heat gun to remove the old contact paper and then sand the damage down? I can't really replace the whole counter but I feel if I just put new contact paper over the old it will look terrible. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
@@PetalsandParchment What did you go with I think a heat gun and spray adhesive is what I plan on trying
