When i first started watching Regular Guy, he was a bit overwhelming for my taste, but i returned to watch, and really developed an appreciation, and respect in him. 👍
What Scotty says about, "Respect" is absolutely huge. If respect isn't given up front it's a huge turn off and i big red flag. These women here are generally very respectful.
I watched a couple of youtube videos where they were attacking Scotty and felt it was pretty shallow and nothing that can't be found on endless other sites. I have no dog in this hunt but couldn't find anything that got me upset or outraged. Scotty's videos are entertaining and educational at the same time.
I am a Scotty fan, but to be honest, he did have a couple of drunken live streams at Phillies in Angeles that he took down. He didn't do or say anything that hadn't been said by thousands of guys before him that were drunk and out having a good time. The difference was that he was filming a live video at the time. A lot of comments were begging him to stop and others encouraging him to continue. It really just played right into the hands of those self-righteous and sanctimonious youtube channels that live off of being haters and outright Karen's.
You have to understand that in the Philippines one of the worse insults there is is to call someone “Kuripot”, which means cheapskate. Being a cheapskate is an unforgivable sin, and nobody want to be with someone who is believed to be a cheapskate because it’s shameful, and will ruin their reputation. Do you get it? It’s the culture and you can’t judge someone from another culture in their own country by your culture.
If a woman asks you why you're so cheap it's a valid question. Why are you so cheap? You'll be a lonely man with lots of money. That sounds like a dreadful existence.
@@KC-in9pxdepends, if guy spends on his car a lot he is NOT cheap. He is wise guy as car will not take his house away. Spending a lot on 1 girl shows she is just gold digger
Scotty has my full support. He shows me all of Philippines and has a quirky, at times comedic way to interact and express his opinion. The slander and accusations directed towards him from 2 American CZcamsrs and their followers is beyond disgusting and shameful. These people should be prosecuted, and investigated what they try to hide.
@@Regular_Guyph I think Omar lives out of his car.....................hahahahhahaha. He's tool, runs his pie hole, but when confronted walks away, goes to his car (home) and whines.
Scotty hang in there honey. There are plenty of mean spirited vloggers that have no agendas other than trashing their fellow humans. Love your videos. Love your personality. Keep being you. ❤
If he didn't talk like the women there were supposed to be used, I could appreciate some of what he brings. I wouldn't know of Malaybalay if it wasn't for him but that doesn't mean I can respect him. He has to mature first.
North American men are often like a bunch of old women. Look at the vlogging scene in Thailand, most people just get on with their own channels. Why? The Westerners who go there are usually European whereas the Philippines is mostly Americans.
@@TitB1199 @TitB1199 Speaking as an American who was raised by his father, I am in a position to know why your statement is at least partly accurate. The women here have disrespected their husbands to the point that the men leave them with the children. This is terrible for the children because the boys grow up to become women and the girls grow up to be modern feminists. The only good solution is to let the men raise the children when they part with the wife but the court isn't going to let us fix our society. They need to foster the upbringing of unstructured future criminals. Can you explain why you think Thailand is more for a manly man? BTW, how would you rate French men as compared to North American men? Are they not Western culture too?
The reason why the girl brought her full 12 person family is that they see you as opportunity to get out of poverty or a ticket to America. I think any country with the poverty level like Philippines, you will find there similar desperation. If you go out of the big cities in the Philippines, you will find more of those who are desperate.
The regular guy is so right in many things, that's why I follow this personality guy. End of this year, I will follow his steps and go on an investment visa to the Philippines. Learned a lot from him...
The rule for CZcams Vloggers is the vloggers with lots of viewers constantly get attacked by unsuccessful vloggers with not very many viewers. The mostly unknown vloggers do it to gain attention and gain viewers. They cannot do it in any other way. Sort of a form of jealousy that someone else has done what they cannot do successfully.
Just been over there last few weeks and so true !!!!! Allover Manila , CDO , Davao, Dumaguete , Oslob not one rude person nothing stolen whatsoever !!!!!! Safer than many if not most western cities these days !!! Compliment to the Philippines and btw same in Thailand just weeks beforehand !!!

Been in the Philippines a couple of years. Life is different here. There was and is still a lot to adjust to. Ups and downs. Positives and negatives. Despite the hardships I'm still here. So, there must be some good here😀
Without a doubt great content and quite the story teller his guest. However you can feel the camera drifting towards under age women or breast shots from afar zooming most of which have been deleted in a hasty effort to clean house after legal action intervention . The evidence is out there he in his lust for under age girls instead of properly waiting 6 months in one instance to meet her legally , he did a 180 regarding his schedule to get his fix throwing caution out the window regarding the law . His emails are published and his backtracking ( Covering his rear ) apparent by vid deleting . Again entertaining guy with anxiety issues if you watch and learn his personality . I might be wrong in fact this very vlogger hosting while talking about his women chasing endeavors seems with the accent and hand gestures a switch hitter but again I could be wrong and still enjoy his channel despite my opinion . Difference is he's not law breaking unlike what evidence has been put out there publicly on his guest . Peace to all and enjoy this short life to its fullest . One thing that I will add as I hear people talk about babe a roonies ect and meeting the right one ect . I mean I might want to have a pair of Loius Vuitton loafers but it's not in the cards presently perhaps but doesn't mean I have to walk around barefoot in the meantime in my journey with dating .
I met a Province Girl in Dalguete Cebu on a FB group (not a dating group ! 😂) and she video chatted with me often. When we started chatting she called me "sir". I said uou don't need to call me sir. She said it is just what we say to a man. I said it feels wierd. Shd said what do you want me to call you ? I aaid my name is John. She said "Okay Sir John " . I loved it. She took me on Jeepneys and motorcycle rides in video chats. Walking tours and even met her family. They freaked out at my long blond hair and blue eyes and long beard. It was a riot. I wanna come visit maybe leave Hawaii. Cool video. I like how people don't fear or get pissed off when you video them. Here people hate it. Aloha thanks again for the video. ❤
Happy to hear you made such a close connection from such a long distance. I'm still respectful where and when I film but the young people here jump into my shots all the time. They are very used to social media and use Facebook constantly. Make your plans and come check it out. It's great here!
I am a resident of Malaybalay and I could tell you it's not cheaper. Went to Moalboal 2 weeks ago, great coffee latte @130 with presentation. Here? 170 on a to go disposable cup. Espresso/Americano 65/75 there while it's 150/160 here. And the quality isn't compromised and the ambiance is even better. Tablea (chocolate drink) is over a hundred for a pack when it's just 50+ down MisOr. Condo that's preselling is over 5M here whilst you can get 2M+ in Dumaguete. No thieves? So funny. Offices and stores are being robbed at night . Happened 1st quarter this year. Good luck.
@@expatlifestyle2000 I actually thought everything has gone overly expensive all over Ph, but no. Let's compare the food "pastil" in Kabacan vs here, it's 10 pesos there and 25 here. 🤷 I ate at some "karenderia" in Moalboal in the middle of the busy touristy area, I asked for half rice to be surprised that their serving of half rice is more than our serving of 1 rice here.
And again, I just have to reiterate. It's no longer safe here like it used to be. Do not leave your belongings unattended. People would enter stores/offices at night even with CCTV and even if it's near enforcement.
Wow. You are the only person I have heard talk like this. I wonder if people only tell me positive things because they want me to have a good impression...
Totally agree with the comment about expenses. I've been living in Thailand for the better part of the past 2 yrs and if you're not careful it can actually be quite expensive, albeit still less then when I was in the US
Scotty Boy has found his place, his videos are (IMO) one of the best of all the Philippine vlogers. Hope he doesn’t change his style or format. These hate vlogers are small and insignificant and are just trying to increase their pathetically low view rate by using his name.
Haven't had his dating experience at all (I live in Cebu). No girl has asked me for any money, many (most) of them are happy to pay for their own transportation and do dates that cost me 0 pesos. Also, it has been very easy to find quality, loyal, and supportive long term partners. Its almost every other girl you meet here. Great interview!
@@expatlifestyle2000 Ormoc was my same experience in Cebu city / province and Bohol, except even moreso. I am actually waiting for the time a filipino girl I date asks me to buy her something, or take her to X, or be nothing but frugal and supportive.
@@expatlifestyle2000 That interesting you had that experience in Mindanao. I haven't spent a lot of time there myself, but based on that fact there are less foreigners there than anywhere else, I would think the girls would be even more simple, loyal, frugal, and traditional.
Canadians have found their hearts in CDO. The likes of Scotty, Kyle, Bret and other western culture looking for retirement places. Something in the place everything seems balance upon their taste. Malaybalay is a good one too. In Luzon probably Tagaytay and Baguio. Hope you find your sweet spot in Philippines Scott.👏🇵🇭
Malaybalay looks really nice, and of course has some cooler weather and has some inexpensive options for rents, foods, etc. But as for cool weather there are many mid-size and smaller municipalities around Mindanao that have cool weather similiar to Baguio.
Well of course almost all the municipalities bordering Malaybalay. But also there's Claveria, there's Libonia which is close to CDO. But also there's Maragusan northeast of Davao, it looks beautiful online. How much time have you spent next door in Valencia? Is it pretty nice?
Thanks. I'll look those up. Everyone I talked to about valencia mentioned how it's to much concrete and they preferred malaybalay. With the festival going on I haven't explored outside a small part of the city yet. I'm sure ill get around to it though.
@@expatlifestyle2000 I'm sure you know this, but before checking out rural parts of Mindanao, you might ask at a PNP Station about the security situation on your route. I know that Marawi City had serious problems as late as 2017, and the rural parts near that city might not be advisable to visit. Good travels.
Been in PH for a week now, was in Manila for three days and a boy, maybe 14 tried to pickpocket me unsuccessfully, and there was a never ending line of scammers and beggars, but since leaving Luzon I have only had incredibly lovely interactions. Really loving the Visayas.
I arrived early nineties in Bugo, CDO and travelled Mindanao intense. Bukidnon was very nice. Had my tent with me and spend lots of time ofthebeaten track, as it was not common at all. Setting a tent up near houses or just in the middle of nowhere. Nowadays Malaybalay, Valencia etc developt a lot. Ended up in Negros and lived there many years. Still always loved Mindanao...and could go around without meeting anerikano's for many weeks. That time was a little more tensed, but overall safe. Was in CDO and withnessed Sendong close at hand ..and saw many body bags that time. One of my more sad stories of the PH.
@@expatlifestyle2000 that was long before the cellphone era and the money lasted much longer. Beside more paved roads, fastfood etc. nowadays the rural areas has enough to offer. But not for everyone for sure...for me wildcamping is still number one to go around everywhere.
Malaybalay is not near a beach so it may be a bit safer from becoming a Dumaguete, Angeles, or Subic anytime soon. Scotty nailed it on the change after Duterte. Duterte was the leader that made it ok to be aggressive towards crime and not take it down lying and just let them have their way. Thanks for the share.

As I said clearly before ...of course there is crime in Pinas. .....However, M rate in the USA from recent stats is 6.4 per 100,000 people ....in Pinas it's 4.3 per 100,000. That stat speaks volumes. There is no question in my mind, as a good old boy Southern boy that worked as a travel nurse in the USA for 21 years, and has lived in Pinas for over 12 years, and has been to all but 8 provinces, and who has been to all the ARMM provinces in Pinas including Sulu, as to which is the more dangerous country . As I have mentioned before I recently had to pull out my weapon in New Orleans in my last visit home and luckily he suddenly stop threatening me with a tire iron that he pulled out of his car trunk lol and I was not in a "bad " part of town either. My god Shreveport, my old home town, is a total nightmare now and it's not even that big. I don't go anywhere in my home state without my 9mm and there are worse states than mine....very sad. I have never ever felt threatened in Pinas. Malaybalay is almost the same population as Shreveport Louisiana...I will walk anywhere in Malaybalay at any time of the day or night....I would only walk in maybe 1/4 of Shreveport in the day time and almost nowhere at night LOL ! There are loads of US cities as bad or worse than Shreveport !
Oddly enough in my city the murder rate was essentially 0. A close by town was considered the murder capitol of the USA for a long period of time. Less than an hour away from each other but VERY different people. America is wild.
That was a very generous introduction. I can't get over how much importance is placed on trying to find something familiar in a place where you go to get away from the crap you couldn't stand. Try letting theses places stay the way they are. You try to ruin the culture.
Great outlook. A lot of fellas come out here with the main reason being women. I'm not one of them but I respect that he talks about it for those who want to know.
I know it matters regarding respect and status. Also I have also seen a decrepit dude in his 70s creep out chick's in their late teens/early 20s by making romantic advances. Would it be more appropriate to say it matter less?
41 years in the culture....12 years living in Pinas. AGE MATTERS otherwise you'd see 65 year old pinoys with 30 or younger pinays lol . The ONLY reason you see 55 year plus puti's with 25 year old pinays is because of money. Security is a BIG emotional need for all women around the world ....the difference is that in the West the "bar" is WAY higher. Lets get real guys...AGE matters! and also for gods sake limit you gap to no more than 20-25 years. If you are 65 what the hell are you doing with a woman 40 years your junior! sick !
I stayed in Manila for awhile in the 80's in Ermita area on M.H.Del Pilar st . This was the heart of the red light district of Manila then. Lots of expats and assorted characters. Our education system really takes out all the terrible things that the US and European empires have done to the Philippines. I bet 95% of people do not know that the name Philippines is from the king of Spain. We name our streets and bridges with American Presidents (Taft Ave. , Roosvelt Ave.) and Generals (plenty of MacArthur highways and streets). We are really conditioned to bow down the westerners. While we look down on Indians and would view Africans based on what we see in western movies.
There is alot to be admired about American and European people contribution to society. Would anyone want to live without the combustion engine, electricity, refrigeration, plumbing, internet, telephones, airplanes, ect ect. Not focusing on the negative and just appreciating the best parts of modernity is a better way to live imo.

A couple of cautionary notes. If you happen to be in the Philippines during election time, there is a possibility you might become a kidnapping victim if you let your guard down. It usually involves a gang operation where they are stalking a potential victim to assess his vulnerability for a kidnapping. Once that is done, then a time and place is set for the kidnapping. The kidnappers will post the amount of money required in order to secure the release of a victim at the embassy representing the victim's country. The money is used to support a political candidate's campaign. Secondly, if a foreigner is susceptible to problems concerning sustained high heat conditions, he should choose a location in a more mountainous, cooler area to live in first and then choose a partner from that area.
Wow sounds serious. Thanks for the safety tip. Luckily I am still fat and it would take 4 filipino men to lift me if I just go limp. Also fortunately I am poor, so they will not be able to collect much for me.
OK! Here’s the deal. In the Philippines one of the worse insults you can bestow upon another is to call them “Kuripot”, which means Cheapskate. Being a cheapskate is a sin. Being a cheapskate makes you one of the most vile, worse kind of individual. No one wants to be associated with someone with the reputation of being a cheapskate, because it’s shameful, and will ruin their reputation also by association. Get it? This is one reason that Filipinos do not save. Saving is proof positive that one is a cheapskate, because if he were not he would spend every penny he receives as he receives it, never letting it build up. It’s a cultural thing, and you can’t live in someone else’s country and judge them by your cultural believe of what is right and wrong. Get it? I rest my case.

Pay attention to what people say and do if you want to understand people. No doubt.
Definitely a conversation ended - agree.

The rule for CZcams Vloggers is the vloggers with lots of viewers constantly get attacked by unsuccessful vloggers with not very many viewers. Scotty is one of the most optimistic, upbeat Vloggers I have ever seen. He is always happy and able to turn a negative into a positive.
I don't think you know him very well.

No thieves? So funny. @@expatlifestyle2000 I actually thought everything has gone overly expensive all over Ph, but no. Let's compare the food "pastil" in Kabacan vs here, it's 10 pesos there and 25 here. 🤷
I ate at some "karenderia" in Moalboal in the middle of the busy touristy area, I asked for half rice to be surprised that their serving of half rice is more than our serving of 1 rice here.

Well of course almost all the municipalities bordering Malaybalay. But also there's Claveria, there's Libonia which is close to CDO. But also there's Maragusan northeast of Davao, it looks beautiful online.
How much time have you spent next door in Valencia? Is it pretty nice?

Still always loved Mindanao...and could go around without meeting anerikano's for many weeks.
That time was a little more tensed, but overall safe. Was in CDO and withnessed Sendong close at hand ..and saw many body bags that time. One of my more sad stories of the PH.
Wow. That seems like a wild adventure you had. I can't even fathom traveling around in a tent and without the convenience my cell phone provides me.

Another thing about the Philippines is that age does not matter.
I know it matters regarding respect and status. Also I have also seen a decrepit dude in his 70s creep out chick's in their late teens/early 20s by making romantic advances. Would it be more appropriate to say it matter less?
Age does matter. Underage is underage and will get you banned from the Philippines.
If you are 65 what the hell are you doing with a woman 40 years your junior! sick !

Not focusing on the negative and just appreciating the best parts of modernity is a better way to live imo.

. You have not lived in the USA for 30 years right....well it's a HELL of a lot worse than it was 30 years ago ! 12 years full time in Pinas. Before that 39 years twice a year travel for 8-10 weeks per year. Married to a pinay for 41 years. I have been to all but 8 provinces. I have been to all provinces of ARMM including Sulu. The reason for the bars on windows has more to do with the old school Spanish left over culture than crime. I don't have bars on my windows. The Spanish also taught cock fighting and mistress keeping to the men ! The guards everywhere with side arms and shotguns is a make work project and not because it's dangerous.
Did I say there was no crime ? Of course there is crime and super corruption. The corruption doesn't affect foreigners that do get involved. If you mess in politics you'll be dead. If you fight a pinoy man you might also be dead if you beat him up.
If you get into a car accident you need blood money pay out to the pinoy family even if it is not your fault. I will say what I said before ...every single major US city is more dangerous than any place I have lived or been to in Pinas and that is why I carried a concealed weapon in the USA when I was a travel nurse for 21 years. If you want to sit in US city burbs then that is a safe idea. You can be shot at any time for your skin color in most major US cities if you venture into the wrong spot. I have never once felt unsafe in Pinas
Those were really well thought out questions ... thank you for that interview. I've been a subscriber to Scotty's channel from the start and find it highly entertaining and informative. He's a little different but in a good way. When I'm there in 2 years, I'll be sure to include a stay in CDO and Malaybalay as both cities sound wonderful. Thanks for a great video.
Your welcome. Hopefully you enjoy my channel as much as you have enjoyed his.
Two years is a longtime in the Philippines and things will surely change in that time. Remember these Vlogs are just a guide and someone's current perspective.
I'm a fan of Scotty and enjoy his channel. He and I are different in many ways but that doesn't change the fact his videos are interesting, informative and fun.
Agreed. He is a cool fella to hang out with too.
good for scotty hes a good man after all
Good man, good friend, Regular guy.
Agree with your perspective on dating. To start simple, and this applies wherever or whatever station you are in life.
Always good to see Scotty.
How old is Scottie ?
@@stevesilver7437 He says he is 45
45 even though he looks younger.
@@expatlifestyle2000 Do you think his Blog will be back? I plan to go to Mindanao in October. I plan to take a scooter in the same area he did on the east coast of Mindanao.
@stevesilver7437 probably, but for sure, not new videos from Mindanao. I'll be pumping out vids from malaybalay and the surrounding areas though.
Sounds like you have a cool trip ahead of you. Be safe out here pimp. Mindanao is an area where the army and the guerrillas are still fighting. Like last year they were mortaring and shooting. Don't get accidently caught up in any local issues.
Wow...we can see the vibe of this city...
It's usually more chill but this over month long festival adds more folks. Still real friendly vibe though.
100% true much safer in the Philippines than many cities in the USA . I’d say by a lot .
Agreed.
every single major US city is far worse then anywhere in Pinas including the ARMM. Me ..41 years in the culture/
every single major US city is far worse then anywhere in Pinas including the ARMM. Me ..41 years in the culture/
It's safer than most Black American neighbourhoods, but that's not saying much.
@@TitB1199 Who said Black....where I come from in the South any city over 200,000 is way more dangerous than anywhere in Pinas ...do you live in Pinas? I have traveled all through the country for 40 years and have lived here for 12 ...what Regular Guy has said is generally correct but I would not go so far as to say that there is no crime. Americans get in trouble here with their loud mouths ....do NOT piss of a pinoy male because "saving face" is a BID DEAL here...if you beat him up ...he will will likely come back and do serious harm to you or kill you. That's the biggest threat here....being a loud mouth American like some of my fellow Americans
Number one priority: a comb.
He is Inspector Gadget, haha.
Interesting. I'm going to talk with some Filipinos about this... thanks for the psychology/sociology Intel to dig into.
Great guy.
Regular guy
Good video
Thank you. I hope you enjoy my other ones too.
I am moving to Dumaguete next month. I am burdened with all the things I am shipping. I just can't let some of my lifestyle go.
I'm an oddity by only owning 3 bags of possessions. My question is what if you would prefer to live somewhere else in the philippines or perhaps even another country. Do you want to pay to move all your stuff every time?
@@expatlifestyle2000 Once I find the perfect place I want to stay there for the rest of my life.
@@1307scooter hopefully dumaguete will be the right fit for you. Definitely check out my other videos. I have a pretty thorough showing of some other philippines locations on there.
Scotty you are the best, you can be serious but you also make fun ,keep the videos coming mate enjoy watching.
Hopefully you enjoy my channel. I would recommend you check out some of my iloilo videos if you like walk and talks.
Great interview guys ! Both of you are welcome to visit with myself...a Brit, and pamily, if ever you're up Pangasinan way (not far from Manaoag). Take care guys.
Thanks Graham.
Wow, Giving people the impression that they can just leave their valuables out and nobody will steal them in the Philippines. This is absolutely crazy.
It's definitely not recommended, but I have heard personal anticdotes from multiple people who have done this safely.
Go watch fly me to the Philippines. They show Crissy and Rob have someone try to grab their bag right from their hands. That was in CDO!
@@stevesilver7437 You get lots of poor advice from vloggers, I have been dealing with the Philippines for 20 years plus and never heard anyone say this, in fact most will give you safety tips. There is actually quite a few vloggers on youtube who have almost had their cameras grabbed while filming. It is fair to say most Filipinos are honest but especially as tourists you often are often targeted by criminals.
@@expatlifestyle2000 ANECDOTES (not "anticdotes").
The honesty factor he mentions is the absolute opposite of what I experienced in six years there. Believe me, there has been no change.
Very good interview.
Scotty is a great interviewee. Thanks for watching.
Nice to see you respecting Regular Guy. He is currently being trolled by others, and Philippines antics seem to be consistently using him on their live streams to instigate haters, which they say they aren't But why bring him up in every video?. just to get views ( which is not working!) But just leave him alone and move on! Scotty is a nice guy and has a great channel. Last month it was Mark Thornton, who will it be next month? Sorry for the rant!
Treat others as I would want to be treated right? At least I know i wont be a target for a while since I don't have many subs. 🤣
@@expatlifestyle2000 Hey you have a nice channel I will sub Now! Nice unbiased interview, sound and filming perfect mate!
@@orangebuddha-gm8ku thanks Buddha, I enjoyed learning about you in Thailand. 😄 🤣
Exactly right. The same trolls do this to everyone and have for years. It unfortunately goes with the territory once you get bigger and have a following.
@@expatlifestyle2000 You will get there Nate, you’re good. The subs will come. I just hope that as you grow you help some of the new vloggers as Scotty has. He has helped several vloggers with growth by giving them shoutouts like Derek from Q Adventures, Ana, you and others. It is nice to see. I also think it is cool when you guys cross paths and interview each other. 👍
The interview was interesting, but what really caught my attention is all those light things in the background that were falling out of the sky constantly. I've seen them in other sites as well. What are those things?
Little toys sold by vendors.
I always support Scotty boy he travels all around the Philippines. Good adventurer.
Good adventurer, great entertainer, Regular Guy. 👦
Excellent sit down and talk with Scotty boy, he is a fountain of information on single guy travel in the Philippines....
Thanks. I was very suprised to hear that korea is affordable. I can't wait to learn more about it from him.

I've always pictured SK as a busy, noisy and expensive place...... Maybe I'm wrong about the expensive part. 😂😂
@thatkajunguy8029 I only visited seoul for a few weeks. As far as a major city goes, it was pretty well organized and tame.
@@expatlifestyle2000 Korea is very nice, 100% safe with polite people. And Seoul is a wonderful city, there's a lot to discover. You're close in the Phils, ask to SB some good plans to visit, at least.
Ill definitly go back. I watch an E-sport pretty religiously and its super popular in korea. Going to the tournaments there is a blast. @metaphy
I like Regular guy. he is just awesome :-)
Me too. Hopefully you will like my channel too. I have quite the back catalog.
Excellent interview of Regular_Guy. I've always liked his travel stories, especially to places that few visit or talk about. I'm looking forward to following his travels during the upcoming phases of his travel plans.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Wow great interview!
Camera looked great also which one do you use?
Thanks. It's a Samsung 21 ultra.
@@expatlifestyle2000 Nice, you can get remote mics connected to it as well?
@kell7195 yes sir. I was pretty amazed by the quality a phone can get too. In low light it's not very good though...
@@expatlifestyle2000 Do the external mics have a box that plugs into the USB-C of the phone?
@kell7195 it's got a receiver that plugs into the c-type port on the cell phone. You can get it where multiple mics use the same port too. There is an issue with it though. It makes the phone so large that it can't be used with a gimble. Are you planning to get a set up to vlog or are you just curious?
Scottie boy is a good guy in my book😊
Scotty seems really nice.
He seems that way to me too.
You caught up with him again , cool conversation
Thanks. Scotty is a cool guy to chat with.
1:55 yes, he looks at them. Look good who passes by, and look at his eyes.
What else to do on Labour Day 😅
He did so well to concentrate. So many people were taking photos/videos, staring, and talking about us just off camera.
This guy is good person.
Good Scotty
Scotty Boy!
Is it scotty boy or scotty boi?
Excellent interview with Scotty
I'm glad you enjoyed. Welcome to my channel.
Check out Antipolo. The city itself is extremely liveable, affordable and not overrun with expats. It is at a fairly high altitude so it doesn't get unbearably hot or humid. However, it is the province, Rizal, that is the attraction. It is only a small province, but well-run and with plenty to do providing you don't obsess with having a Manila-style nightlife. It is also only a 90 minute drive from Manila/BGC if you do fancy a night out.
Putting Antipolo on my research list. I'm no longer a nightlife kind of guy outside of night markets and chilling in nature at night so that won't be an issue for me. Thanks for the intel.
@@expatlifestyle2000 If we have guests from overseas - or elsewhere in the Philippines - we all head for one of the many hill-resorts for a few days - everything you would expect from a beach resort, apart from the beach, of course. They cater primarily to Filipino tastes so they are not tourist traps and you get a more authentic Philippines experience. Also, the area is pollution free and clean.
O no!!!! Sounds like a winter destination. 😄
