Riding With Royce - SOUTH STATION TO READVILLE (via Fairmount)

In the latest on my Riding The Rails feature, I take you on a ride along the entire Fairmount Line, otherwise known as the Dorchester Branch to some. This is the first of two parts, with the second releasing soon and taking you back into South Station via Ruggles on the Northeast Corridor!

I always find it funny how they always purposely overshoot Fairmount w/ only the last set of doors being on the platform. Wouldn’t it make sense to have the whole train platform to let more people on/off at once?
