We can increase our food production. But there is one more thing we need to do and that is to make some changes in our food habits. The high consumption of processed packed food, red meat etc has some detrimental effects on our health. We need to change that.

I hope the satellite farming to become reality soon across the globe. There are so many things to do here.

Glad that the farmer crop is being taken care of, more should be done but it not too late.

Very interesting video. It would probably be better if they added biochar to the clay soil in the orchards.
Even if it was just added on top, it would work it's way down into the soil. Or if they had the man power, they could dig holes and fill them with biochar.

Forestry not farming. Perennials not annuals. Ecology not agriculture.

Ideally, but it can be hard to produce enough food with those kinds of crops.

Why is that investment isn't being made to help these farmers not for business interest but humanity first. Yes technology could play a big role in helping small holders and farmers we can produce both water and power from the sun some crops can be grown indoors eliminating the need for pestersides and reducing the amount of water needed. True help is education and investment once these are in place we can let the farmers do what they have always done produce food and be able to feed their people first and then sale to the rest of us.
