You need a caregiver job in Canada to get the work permit at the time you are applying for the work permit you are mandated to apply for PR, One must fulfill 24 months as a Caregiver in Canada before sending his work hours to IRCC to update their PR profile
Hi...What if you don't have anything to show that you have had experience as a homecare support? Sometimes in Nigeria you just get the job without any formal documentation (like nanny for kids or old people in their prrsonal houses). you are Nigerian and you may be able to relate with what am saying
Yeah thats what happens back in Nigeria, as long you can convince the employer that you can do the job, there is no harm in trying for this route. My advice usually is cast your net as wide as you can at least it must catch a fish

Leaving Canada If you go on a vacation outside of Canada, you are not automatically deemed ineligible for permanent residence under the Home Child Care Provider Pilot or Home Support Worker Pilot. However, it is important to note that if you leave Canada while your application is being processed, we cannot guarantee that you will be allowed to re-enter. Each time you re-enter Canada you will need to be re-assessed and meet all eligibility criteria for entering the country.

Do you need to be a graduate of a caregiver school? To apply for NOC4411 I have quite an experience for child home care I don't know there is such a requirements besides CPR and First aid certification.

Hello darling. It's me again. I just realized that the Generic form im0008 is also the same form to use for future PR. At the moment, I am currently waiting for my ECA result from ICAS, for this Home Child Provider, since I have an employer already. Do I have to pay for the permanent residence fees of my spouse and kid, Even though, they are not yet coming with me? I understand that my spouse will need to do Medical as well, should it be the same for Biometrics, and PR payment?
