That was good advice at the end. Yes #1 does sound true. This person has hurt me far too much for too many years to ever be with them again. It's not even repairable as we're too different. I'm living my final years in peace- the only time I ever felt a sense of peace with this person, was the night they dumped me (for the 3rd time over our 20 year history) . So the peace I had with them lasted probably 3 hrs, tops đ All they had to do was not treat me badly, as I'm fairly adaptable, but instead, I felt like had no importance whatsoever except to cater to their sexual needs and this was proven by their actions over a long period. I left and that's it. The damage was done. Even an engagement ring and best behaviour felt like a manipulation tactic so they wouldn't have to go out and find someone else, not because I was important to them. I don't even know if I'll heal before I die. But I do know it's my time to be alone....
