I think i can see a dog in the background too? Yes there's a doggy, labrador with longer hair. I can only hope these exotic animals we saw, lemurs and kangaroo, are being well taken care of.. :( with no suffer ever at all
My animals have come from all over. Started with one roo.. then two... and Liam the ringtail was the first lemur. From there I expanded and hope to breed the ruffed lemurs in the future. They are extremely endangered.. so would be cool to add to the population!
They have to be properly managed from a stud book from an authorised breeding programme to preserve generic integrity if you wanted to benefit the population, especially if your goal is a noble one for eventual release into the wild. Breeding them outside of carefully selected stock won’t benefit this wonderful species for the future. I know a lot of backyard breeding goes on around the States (in Florida especially), and there’s already one place in Florida that I know is interbreeding a red ruffed lemur with a black and white one!! :( A lot of people use the excuse of breeding these animals for “conservation” or species preservation, but the last thing we need is for mutated stock running around. I honestly hope you are licensed to do what you planned to do with ruffed lemurs. If you are, then great. I don’t think they’re going to learn species specific skills growing up around so many other species, though. :-/

Liam is Alpha lemur.. He was the first and always by my side.. pushes the others away from me if he is on my lap. I am dominant female and he is my alpha male. Lolli is dominant over the baby boy Poppi.. but she is so sweet so doesn't push him around much. The baby can get pretty aggressive with the others.. I was surprised by that

Interesting, a living fossil, The Lemur, an authentically primitive Mammal, a Marsupial Kangaroo, and a very advanced modern Placental Mammal, the Domestic Housecat. Interesting how they interacted.
Rooster and Owen are fine.. Just haven't been in recent vids. They are pretty lazy and just lay around most of the day. Bug is getting huge.. the last video is the hippo video.. you can see how big he is in that one. Still super sweet though. I bet he is 4 ft tall already!

Cat has flight adaptations all over the body.. u can fling cat into air like a pigeon.. So nothing special only about tail. Still lemur tail beats cat tail..
