Hey Curlfriends,
So this was a very impromptu hairstyle. I used whatever I had at the house. As you may now know, I did not have a crochet needle so I had to improvise! This was a good challenge for me. I like to find multiple ways to accomplish something so I hope this method is easy for you all to follow. I know it's not traditional but it works!

Honestly, I appreciate you for posting this! I never had a chance to learn anything about my hair when I was younger and as a millennial, who has been natural for 10 years, and loc'd for 2 years. I felt like I never really gave my hair a chance as far as protective styles go. It's also getting WAY TO EXPENSIVE to be paying someone else to do my hair. So after taking my locs down and seeing my hair....I'm in LOVE with it and i'm DYING to try some protective styles to keep it growing. This has become my favorite go to style now. I appreciate you

Yes, it is the same hair as the bob tutorial. I'm pretty sure for this hairstyle I unraveled first then cut the rubberband.

Yes you can hot water the ends. I use to put the rollers on my ends then dropped them in the hot water
