none of these videos work. this says "missing" in the title. all of the videos HAVE network adapters in device manager. i do not. fix title or the downvotes will just keeeep comin

I found this video on my phone after my laptop internet stopped working. All that had changed is that I had unplugged it to set it aside while I did some vacuuming.
I followed your steps and unfortunately after several restarts, the problem remained.
As a last resort before taking it back to where I had purchased to follow the warranty process, I unplugged the charger and powered off the laptop (as opposed to just restarting it). When I turned it on again with the charger plugged back in, it worked.
So, to anyone with an ASUS laptop who may have faced this issue and who have not solved it yet, try unplugging and powering off completely as opposed to just restarting. Good luck and God bless.

Thank you ! Last option did it, even if nothing else here seemed to. Was losing my mind. It also fixed my restarting issue. (funny how that seems to be so common) Basically I would click restart and it would shut down, but it would hang at the last section where the screen is off and key lights are off, but power light still on, and never do anything. Had to hold power button to do get it to turn off. The last CMD prompt actually made it so it restarted completely cleanly, even though the prior ones or restarts before that (at least like 6) would all fail in the same spot.
I don’t have a WiFi adapter period. Where can I download it. I’ve done everything in this video and it doesn’t recognize that I should have a wlan adapter so it finds nothing. Please help!!!

While doing the last step to fix my problem, after typing “netcfg -d” it said “failed. Error code: 0x0”. What does that mean? And how can I fix it?

@@allanmong1917 Nope I never could get it to work. I just grabbed my ethernet cord and plugged it into my laptop and into my wifi box and it gave me wifi. Sometimes restarting my laptop or resetting the network helps but it's rare. I just wait until it fixes itself most of the time now
Thanks man, it worked after the last step. For those who still face the issue after the last step, you must have an internet connection for your device to be able to reinstall all the drivers, so try to connect with an ethernet cable and follow the steps.

Hi, I am using tplink wifi extender and my main wifi router is linksys dual -band. I connected my PC to wifi extender by using tplink usb wifi adapter and it worked fine.But suddenly when I was playing there was a power cut and after that PC wifi is able to see other networks but not wifi extender even if it is in range.And wifi extender is able to connect to my iPhone and other devices.Don’t know why it is not visible to tplink usb wifi.Tried resetting and also checked ssid.it is in disable state only . Can you suggest?
