It's a hard time trying to tell someone how you feel about them by looking in their eyes because you know you'll absolutely meltdown by the pure sight of them and not be able to get your words out.
There is a level of vulnerability that can only be had when a person feels they are in a safe place. Wow! I've been through a lot too and had completely lost hope of ever finding love until I recently met a woman wbo makes me feel exactly as he described. Weird because I've never seen this channel before and this came on my feed unexpectedly. I've been on an amazing journey of healing and I feel much more optimistic than I've ever felt before and then she walks into my life and makes me feel, safe. I've met great friends since I started this healing process but since I've met her this incredible peace has descended on me even when I'm going through storms of life. Whatever God has in store for us is still unfolding but I am grateful she's here and helping put a shine on these healed parts of myself.

I'm coming at this from an "older" perspective, and I am saying - when a man loves you for how you make them FEEL, and not who you ARE, leave. God won't send your person until it's your time, whenever that is. Patience is truly a virtue in the single season. I still have hope. The best piece of advice 3 people have given me is to "enjoy" my single season and take advantage of it.
Being single doesn't equate to loneliness.
We make a lot of mistakes out of desperation because being single is uncomfortable. Mistakes can be avoided when your decisions aren't rooted from a perspective of lack.
I spent this last year in denial that I need to be single bc of my desires, while simultaneously focusing on personal growth and going to therapy to understand myself and the world around me. My focus today is being a better person, growing, being content and grateful with my life as is (single), setting and achieving my goals. eating right, taking better care of myself inside and out, learning how to love purely and accept and reciprocate pure love.
For anybody like me that desires pure love, don't avoid the single season. It will make you a better person and better partner in the end. With love, Ro

This then creates a notion in their mind that they are simply unlovable and unworthy of being in any intimate, real relationship. Wow! I've been through a lot too and had completely lost hope of ever finding love until I recently met a woman wbo makes me feel exactly as he described. Weird because I've never seen this channel before and this came on my feed unexpectedly. I've been on an amazing journey of healing and I feel much more optimistic than I've ever felt before and then she walks into my life and makes me feel, safe. I've met great friends since I started this healing process but since I've met her this incredible peace has descended on me even when I'm going through storms of life.
