Thank you for featuring fair skin over 50! This look is exactly what I want for my son’s wedding next summer. I don’t mind spending money on the right brands/colors. So many over 50 “looks” are too artificial on me - as tho I’m a drag Queen. No shade there - if that’s your jam, but fake eyebrows on light & disappearing brows make me look really angry, insane or cartoon. You’re beautiful with or without makeup 😉

I love this message! Love the energy you radiate. As a woman to two little ones who is turning 40 and already seeing the changes in my face, I appreciate the message of taking time to take care of our self of self love and acceptance. I’m not getting younger and I appreciate seeing older women embrace aging.

What a wonderful tutorial. Thank you. I have had to restart my entire routine and am in a massive relearning curve. I like how you reminded me to change my expectations. My dad passed in 2008 and my mom had early- onset Alzheimer's. I was her primary caretaker until a few months ago when she passed, which was a blessing. She is finally at peace. I was in my late 40s when I began caretaking and am now 60. I was always happy with my results back then. I seriously didn't have time to do my face for my entire 50s and was lucky if I could follow a skincare routine. This past May when mask restrictions were lifted, I replaced all my makeup and began again. I was shocked and saddened by the lousy results. I aged SOOOO much and never even noticed. I began researching online and seriously, there is not enough content for women my age and I have made some expensive mistakes. Thank you again. This video taught me a lot. Especially because you and I share some similar characteristics. I just subscribed and look forward to more of your work. Thank you again.

You will regain your confidence with practice, but remember to have fun and enjoy the journey. ;). I have become my husband's caretaker (and he's 4 years younger than I am)...and it is hard I must say. YOU were there for your mom all those years....you have EARNED this time for you. She would think so too without a doubt. ❀

@@JillLynnBeautyTherapy Thank you so much for your kindness. Today I tried contouring my lips with shadow. I did not have MU Geek in the color you used but it was very close and I am thrilled with the result. It eliminated or camouflaged the droopiness at the corners. I also copied your technique on the kohl liner and was surprised by how my eyes popped. I had to stop using crayons because of hooded eyes and it was messy but I thought the liquid liner made me look too hard. I am relearning everything lol. I hope your husband recovers and that you take care of yourself. I ignored everyone who told me the same and boy-oh-boy everything caught up at once. I think my husband is going to need me to be his caretaker soon. He was recently diagnosed with prostate cancer and is taking hormones and this was week one out of eight weeks of radiation. He is tolerating it well but I have been warned it gets difficult around week eight. I will keep you and yours in my thoughts and prayers. Thank you again.

Oh, I have learned so much from this detailed application of everything. Especially about the eyes applications and helping with the crepe around my eyes. I like the neutral look and you have perfected it! Going to look for the products you are using today. Please remember I am 75 and have been ill for several years and will be but but I still want to look nice. Currently I don't have a cosmetic routine of any kind. Don't even know how to prepare my face for applying cosmetics. I will be watching your GRWM videos that I can learn from you how to go about hoping I will look better. I do have Roscea and have to consider this as I use products. Really appreciate you helping us all to keep ourselves up as best we can. â€đŸ˜Š

I will be 56 in May and I'm always looking for new ways to up my makeup routine. My best feature has always been my eyes but now my eyelids are a bit crepe (and a bit on the neck). Those are the areas I've aged during this pandemic lol I am now trying to treat those areas and I want to get back into wearing makeup again. With depression(and a bad divorce) it can be hard to get motivated but watching other women in my age group like you are a true inspiration and you are so beautiful!

Lovely. Your attitude towards aging I believe is the healthiest. I will be 45 soon and I'm starting now to mold my mind into embracing and not rejecting aging. It's hard. But I also remind myself of that 21 year old woman that was never pretty, skinny or enough. That was me. Despising my youth and beauty. So silly. Anyway, forget it, when you realize true beauty radiates from within, you can be free to be kind to yourself and appreciative of the body (face) that God has given you to live this wonderful journey of life. Just my thoughts. Thanks.

I decided six years ago to stop coloring my hair and embrace my greys and haven’t looked back since. One thing I have learned that what makeup or colors that might’ve worked for me 8-10 yrs ago, doesn’t look quite the same now. Skin care changes, color and product adjustments! That’s awesome! I do the same. ❀ Wearing some makeup , and accentuating certain features doesn’t mean I am doing the opposite? I celebrate myself, my age through the relaxing ritual of makeup application. Makeup for me is an art form
and it is a way I embrace my age. Feeling our best is a culmination of various self care habits and rituals. Mental health, how we eat, movement, as well as anything that bring you joy. For me
makeup is a piece of that culmination. I love myself with or without makeup. ❀
