The WOMAN supergroup features four of rock musical theatre’s most powerful female voices and ‘We Will Rock You’ alumni - Mazz Murray, Kerry Ellis, Gina Murray and Anna-Jane Casey.
This special 2020 cover on which Brian performs as well as producing, is released in Breast Cancer Awareness Month to support the work of two leading women’s cancer charities - Target Ovarian Cancer and The Caron Keating Foundation, the latter being the family run cancer charity in memory of the much loved TV personality that was established by her mother Gloria Hunniford, and Caron's two brothers.

To be honest I thought his solo was a bit underwhelming. Powerful vocals from the ladies though.

Four powerhouse singers with Dr. Brian backing them with the Pink Special. Blues meets heavy metal, only like Dr. May can deliver. The beautiful strong vocals of each lady each taking a verse then there are the harmonies on the refrain, captivating. I’m proud to be a woman! Thanks, everyone. Well done.

@@blondiebluetx64 Queen has made some songs that are fairly heavy, but I am pretty sure this isn't metal. Not enough distortion, pretty straightforward rock n' roll.
Funnily enough, heavy metal is derived from blues as a genre.
I am very familiar with Queen’s studio and live library as I’ve been a fan since 1976 and their earlier music is among my favorite, although I do enjoy it all including the pop and disco/dance genre, Queen can do it all. I’m not going to argue my point that I did not say the song was metal. Dr. Brian added elements of metal (or rock n roll, whatever you want to call it) and it sounded fantastic with the lady’s voices. I can see where HM was derived from blues though.

I guess the reason I commented is that heavy metal has a more narrow definition these days. I know it was broader back in the day, but these days it refers specifically to a loud, aggressive sound with plenty of distortion.
This is such a great song, I have loved it for close to 50 years, ever since I first heard Maria Muldar belt it out with the Jim Kweskin Jug Band then later as a solo number. I didn't think anyone could knock this song out of the park better than Maria did but these ladies have totally rocked me with this rendition and of course, then there is Brian...Holy **** he is killing me with his guitar work. I listened to this in my bed this morning and I swear, my 70 year body was tossin' and rockin it hard, every part of me swaying, pumping and feeling the empowerment that this song has always instilled in me. Thank you for this and for honoring all the women who are fighting or who have survived female cancer, it is a struggle that is impossible to understand it you have not lived it. Just pre-ordered my CD, LOVE this song!

How can anyone give this a thumbs down when its a charity record for awesome cause featuring great vocals and amazing guitar- those people who disliked this need help!
Some people just don't know a work of art when it's right in front of them. Feminists are calling it sexist, because they think the song promotes the exact stereotypical roles that they are trying to fight against. I imagine that's where most of the thumbs down are from; but in my opinion, it was written at a time when women embraced being women an taking care of the household. I think it was brilliant for its time and will always be a classic!

Amazing talent. Great cause...I have recovered from breast cancer. Best of intentions there is no doubt about that. Not the best lyrics for these times and this cause. (I know the song is a "classic".) I'm a single mum, and my Gen Z daughters couldn't stop rolling their eyes on hearing the lyrics. We all do adore Brian and Queen (and Adam) though.
