Good job! one question, if you had to speed run Meltdown without superbikes, without killing all bikes and on hard difficulty, which one would you use?
@@MrBlonde1 I've been doing some tests regarding the regualr bike's speeds and potential and turns out that the in-game stats are wrong and don't refelct the bikes accuratly, Velofire/Pantheon are actually the 3rd best bike, the very best is Zeo-Max followed by Boomsta in second place, Velofire is just the easiest to use but its top speed is actually mediocre, worse than G-Spark, Wraith and Mooga, The fastest bike is Boomsta but Zeo-Max is closely behind but with better armor and handling, Zeo's speed is so high that it might be bugged. Turns out almost all the bikes are actually very well balanced, the only 2 trash tier unusable bikes are Surge and Vex.
@@ShotaroAsakura hmm, I would love to discuss this further. You should join us in the Extreme-G Speedrun discord. Edit: discord.gg/Nsuywrs here is a discord invite link.
Excellent video! Extreme-G 2 added a lot more gameplay wise but was overshadowed by the first one and the third one. Nevertheless It's an excellent videogame!
Agreed. This game, as bad as it is on console with its choppy framerate, (and how unfair it can be speedrunning it sometimes haha) it is still an absolute gem of a game. Thanks for the comment, I hope you enjoyed the video.
@@sonococoliche0810 I could do it for XG3, however it might take a bit of time since I've never played the "All Races" category, so there will be a lot of learning on my end, the only category I've played is "All Bronze Races" which is the 250G cups, and I've done some individual level runs here and there. I might actually give All Races a shot. I theorize it might take up-to a month for me to complete an All Races run, I don't think I'm skilled enough to challenge the WR time. I predict I will be behind the WR run by up-to 10 minutes.
@sonococoliche0810 The problem with that is, The race doesn't end like it does in XG2 meaning much like in XGRA you still actually have to race (I verified this information with the current WR holder - ShogunTiara), also the AI is very difficult and sometimes does not like being hit with weapons like the Railgun, but they love spamming mines. Also worth noting that trying to destroy the AI will actually lose upto several minutes per race since the AI is always so slow. I've done a small bit of testing and the most consistent way to kill an AI is actually heat seekers, but it takes 5 or 6 rockets to kill (No shield/ammo upgrades). I might have to just rely on racing lines and trying to get past the AI as fast as possible in every race. Interesting ideas though, I always love reasons to go back to games I've speedrun in the past. (I was actually looking for an excuse to go play XG3, and this set of comments has given me the excuse I need :D)

So in terms of going fast something like Velofire/Honda Pantheon (They're the same, just different names/textures) would probably be my choice.
@@MrBlonde1 Thanks for replying, yeah Velofire seams way too good compared to other bikes, wish they had a better balance between them.

@@MrBlonde1 Thx, I'm kinda busy atm but I'll surely be free and able to join in 1 or 2 weeks, hopefully.
This was interesting to watch. Something caused me to remember the soundtrack recently and it led me to here. Thanks for the run and the nostalgia
kaboom?
Yes rico,kaboom. 1:02
Mario Kart gets all the glory, but in Mario Kart you can´t go at the frickin´ speed of SOUND!!
True that, I always preferred the Extreme-G games for that reason. Thanks for the comment ♥

@@MrBlonde1 can you do this but with Xtreme G 3?

@@MrBlonde1 IMO if you want to destroy bikes fast try the rail gun.

Contender eliminated
i knew there was a reason i hated X2.
:) XG2 isn't all that bad. It has some funkiness sure, but its still a pretty solid game.
