    Not only does Mr. Hooks know his stuff, but man is he entertaining. I wish all interviews with animation-related folks were as engrossing! Thanks to Ferdinand and Ed for getting this recorded!

    I was a student of Ed Hooks in the 90s in Palo alto and San Francisco. He is top notch teacher. I never made it big but learned alot. Funny thing is I worked on many indie films. Wrote, produced. Acted and directed in them. Point is I finally created an animated series called Spaz Family Circus. Google it. Kudos to my former acting coach Ed.

    He's absolutely right, 15 years ago, I use to go the library to learn acting. Acting books are not meant for Animators. Since then I'm glad the way they have filled the gap with info specific for animators.

    I was fortunate enough to attend a few lectures and have dinner with with him. Absolutely awesome guy, super cool and incredibly talanted. Learned a great deal from him.

    But why don't you spend more time with him? Why does live have to have a limit? If it were up to me, I would love to see a video with this guy talking for 5 hours!!!! 😢
