  • Are you sharing your NEW Salon Policies and safety procedures you are implementing post COVID with your Instagram audience?!
If you're not, you definitely should!
A few weeks ago, I went to Arizona to get my hair done and while I was out there, I thought I'd make a nail appointment too (since nail salons are still not re-open in California at the moment).
I started my search on Instagram to find a nail salon and I landed on PROSE Scottsdale's Instagram account ( / prosescottsdale . In this vlog, I share why I chose to get my nails done there and why you as a hairstylist or salon should be sharing about your NEW client experience on Instagram!
This video is a little different, so if you like vlog style videos, let me know in the comments below!

What if you knew EXACTLY what to post on Instagram every single day without having to think about it?!
My latest resource ✨The Social Stylist Plan ✨ will help you easily map out 3 months of Instagram content in less than 3 hours so you can spend only 3 minutes a day posting on Instagram. And the best part is it's only $27!

Did they check your temp at the door? That's our first thing we do before having our clients wash their hands. We also all did our covid-19 barbicide course and display our certification underneath our license, it's also on a long hallway so they can see while theyre otw to wash their hands. I kind of feel as if this video just showed how nice the salon was and as I understand they told you their precautions, but I still feel uninformed on those said precautions 🤷‍♀️ I was interested in hearing them since they're in a different state as me.

Every state and county will have different guidelines! I recommend follow what your state requires. Thanks for watching!

Very true! Just was curious about what their state guidelines were since I though that was more on what the video was about.

Hi! I'm a hairdresser in Colorado. We opened May 1st. Our shop is following all the mandated guidelines. I was wondering if in the video if the people getting their nails done were socially distancing? They just seemed close together. We aren't allowed here to even have a waiting room or area. Maybe the rules are different in Arizona.

Amanda Maddox I was wondering that too for the spacing otherwise everything else looked great!

It's hard to tell in the video, but I was definitely social distanced from any other clients. The clients that were sitting close together I believe had come together so maybe they were family? I'm not sure, but it felt safe to me. Every state and county has their own restrictions and some places will look different than others. Thanks for watching!

We had to completely rearrange our salon to make all the stations 6 feet apart. Absolutely no waiting room. If our health inspector came in and saw 2 people sitting as close as those customers were, we would be shutdown and fined immediately. I will point out I live in Canada and I guess the rules are stricter here.

None of this would be anything like enough the distance between is way to close to each STATION. WAY TOO MANY CLIENTS.. IN THE SALON.... its just not going to be aloud in UK we're I am FROM... no salons, are open... And when they do they will have to have full ppe......

That is such a great idea to post on Instagram your sanitation and disinfecting routine! I recently opened my own salon suite! I have a decent clientele but definitely still looking to build! So this is a great idea to potentially gain new clients! Thank you for the tip!!!!

Very close together the seats and its really not social distancing . in Ireland not open til July 20 and full Ppe must be worn . it may feel comfortable but virus is invisible I'm afraid

Would have loved to see more details of them working on you for higher cleanliness with this kind of service as it is high with all kinds of transferable infections as well as Covid. Will look at there channel to see more there. I do appreciate the sign of let us get that for you was a nice touch. Thank you for sharing this to get ideas.

Hi! I don’t know if you answer comments but I was wondering if you could do a video on how to blend out overgrown roots on a client that has back to back highlights, I struggle to hide/blend out the demarcation line with my clients that have SUPER thick hair and I take my time with foils, I’m currently training in my level 3 hair qualification and lockdown is about to be over here in the UK so I’m super apprehensive about the colour corrections I’m going to have to face😩 I love doing hair but I’m a perfectionist and an over thinker so they don’t go well together! Thank you, love your videos sooooo helpful x

I felt that salon you showed was not very safe. The hand opening was to big. The cloth pillows and chairs in the peficure area is too germy and can't be wiped down. Too many people. Just didn't look safe
