You're so similar to me and my mom. .specially on plastic stuff. My mom hates plastic, she's replaced as much plastic containers as she could and she'd never take up plastic bags. And the "plastic prob" has become big enough that everyone must take it up with utter seriousness, a little contribution to try and lessen it's use will have a huge impact because hey! it's because of us only which had it grown so much.
Very well observed
@@SuperWowstyle please give away your make up products to me specially lipsticks.... I really love lipsticks and in need of it.. thank you.
This makes a lot of sense
I don't buy-
Hair conditioners (apply egg or curd or some home remedy once in a week, that's enough, hair conditioners are just a gimmick)
Face packs
Tissue papers
Aluminium foil, I use very soft cotton cloth to wrap chapatis etc in tifin but not foil.
Cotton roles or balls for applying cleansers or removing make up, instead make small small napkins with your old clothes. These are reusable and can save 100-150 rs per month.
Fabric softeners, they are of no use to me, I prefer washing delicate clothes in easy.
Too many lip balms ( though I am obsessed with lip balms, but now I wait patiently for one to finish)
Mouth fresher or mints, I keep clove, cardamom etc in a small box in my purse
Expensive soaps/body wash, (medimix and khadi mint soaps are more than enough)
Intimate wash soap or liquid soap, change your panties twice in a day, keep proper hygiene, you won't need intimate wash.
Have one black, one golden and one silver footwear to match with all party wears.
Watches, I have same combination, golden silver n black..one one each.
Also, avoid going to super markets, we end up buying lot of items which just pile up in our house, if you want to avail some good discount from super market then just go once in a month with a fixed list, it helps.
I uninstall apps like Amazon Flipkart etc from time to time, especially during festivals, believe me, I dint shop anything that I don't need by this.

Hats off! To you ..
We the middle class people are born minimalist and jugadu as well 😁
Very true
👍😀
True
Not at all ......more than 50% shows fake rich personalities
After watching this video i realised i have been living a minimalistic life for so long without even realising it.
Damn! No AC no cable connection. You’re contributing a lot for the environment! And saving a lot of money !! Extremely rare to see somebody doing that! Hats off!!
When I have my own house m gonna follow everything you do!
This girl has changed so much after roadies. So happy to see someone actually doing something good after doing a show called roadies. Honest & humble way to go girl. Love the way you accept yourself without being a show off. Be the same always & guide the youth to not take part in roadies.
You are confusing her with Bani J
She was in roadies.
Have a kid and your minimalism would go Down the drain !!
The most useless thing I ever bought was "SLIME".. 😢
Haha! Understandable though, so tempting
Me too.. 🤣🤣🤣
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Me too
I am a stationery addict. I can't stop myself from buying more and more.
dude, you are def one of the few who've shown real growth here on YT. I'm sure it isn't easy for you as a blogger to say you don't actively gather a lot of beauty products or trendy clothes anymore. def the one who's grown w me. I started watching you when you were predominantly beauty DIYs and let me tell you this, i am absolutely delighted that you've grown and made your growth so public. i feel like we've matured together somehow. apprecite ya xo
You are so kind :)
What a coincidence!!! I made the exact same video last week! We could have collabed over this 😉
haha! actually not truly. Have to give you some credit for it.

Kritika Parmar same

I had never been to a salon. Am 21 years
Mee to never coloured straight ed done anything to my hair
Bach geyi saloon se. They can damage your hair
@@soumirachaudhary3520 true i have very low hairfall
I wouldn't agree with gold and silver.. the resale value is always good and they are a good investment to make come handy especially when you buy property and stuff..
yesterday itself i was watching this documentary on minimalism on netflix and have watched other videos as well , it makes complete sense to me . I mean this is the lifestyle i would personally love to adapt
if we notice minutely we have started loving things and we are depended on it , we have things that doesnt bring joy in our lives anymore yet we keep it in our shelves and clean the dust on it from diwali to diwali
peopl often misunderstand this and say oh i love my books and i love exchanging it bla bla ...i mean books bring me joy then why not keep it ...but chuck all other stuff that has not been utilized for years
We humans are becoming compulsive hoarders and spend so much money on things that wont do us any good after few days , we work day and night for what ??? to have this huge clutter of things that doesnt mean anything to us
I am so happy Prachi that you have adopted this lifestyle
It will bring u more peace of mind , you will not only have space in ur house but mind as wel to concentrate on things that really matter . Love ya
prerna rawat What is the name of this doumentary?
@@anamj252 Minimalism- A documentary on important things
This documentary has shown many people who have adapted minimalism
But it focuses mainly on two friends who left their corporate jobs , a six figure salary and adopted minimalism
They have their own website , podcast and have written books
Oh god u should see how happy they are now
1#- Everything that remains - Millburn & Nicodemus , this is their number one seller
prerna rawat I'm intrigued now, will definitely watch it👍
I'm so minimalist that I don't even use netflix 😀😀
@@princeroy6931 even i dont have Netflix
Its someone else's account ;)
Damnn I'm just 18.. but seriously.. all these tips are going to help me😍😍❤❤
yayieee.finally an Indian youtuber talking about minimalism!
Another youtuber Saloni srivastava talked about it too..and i like prachi's way of being minimalist.
Minimalist in me is so happy watching this video.. like "I am not alone!!" Apart from the toaster and microwave (which I use a lot actually) I do all the things you mentioned, including menstrual cup., not going to parlour, decorations, jewellery etc etc.
I learned so much from this one. Thanks a ton. My house is quiet big and very spacious but my family and i like the space in the house and that's why we have less furniture. Plus internally also we feel clean and happy because of it. Last Diwali a neighbor came to our house to wish us for Diwali and made a comment "you should buy better furniture and decorate the house it feels incomplete" in a very bad tone, which made me feel really bad. I am over it now. And I feel whatever logics and reasoning you have behind not having extra things are very correct. Mostly people Know it but just to show off and maintain the status in the society try to incorporate the extra material in their house. Lastly, I am going to follow everything you talked about. Btw, we never bought or re decorated our house :p
Thanks!
Much love ❤️
You inspire me to follow a minimalistic life , I will try to follow some of your tips thanks , loads of love❤️
You are exactly speaking my mind.
U jst inspired me to bcm a minimalist.....i love yor videoz coz itz dey r olwz originl...
I had to pause at 16:38 because I couldn't control anymore from saying how madly I appreciate this. I already have some of these habits, I tell people as and when I see someone who is willing to make a positive change. The best thing about it all is that it's THE BEST combination. You save money, you save environment. I wish more and more people become aware of these things and start taking active part in making sustainable changes in life. We owe it to next generations of humans and all the almost extinct and really beautiful animals. I'm glad you are doing such videos. Thanks for this one love 💕
Very useful video. Going to follow some of these which I require. Especially one in one out.

Thank you for sharing, the online sale culture is also a major contributor to our impulse buys, right now in the Diwali sale, I spent 2k rupees on stuff I didn't need 😥
Excellent video.. wish ppl cud follow.. i live the same way. But ppl around me don't and they r not even rdy to understand!
I totally get it.
some people (relatives) commented on how I was just being cheap for not buying microwave or toaster. I guess its easy to judge anybody who thinks differently.
Like d video. I also think same like u at some extnt.. Bt pepl or relatives or some friends think dat im "kanjus".though i dont hesitate to hlp ppl bt think 2wice before buy any thing for my own uses.
Well if v have decided to live this way then it should not matter what others think about it.. when they cant change their ways. Y shud v?
Great!! This is one precious video u've made..!!

Hey Prachi .. nice n useful video.. which ESSENTIAL OIL u use for mosquitoes..?
The most valuable video I found on internet today
I started going to the gym last year and relied on CZcams for good meal ideas. One thing led to another and I stumbled upon minimalism lifestyle. Today seeing your video reminded me how I need to honestly rethink a lot of my decisions in order to make my home, my mind and my life clutter free.
One of best video.. very useful.. 👍
Yes..buying too much decorating pieces creates a clutter specially when u live in rented house with less space..
I too dont have sofa..we sit on chairs or mattress with pillows and comforter..it feels so cozy..
Prachi. I love watching all of your videos
Plz make diy video next on how you make fabric softener, pest control and which essential oils used by you
Really helpful.keep going.

I saw you in Roadies a while ago, but now when I see your videos, I am proud of you, and really happy too. You’ve grown up to be such a sensible, mature woman!! You go girl! 💕
I am a little spendthrift prachi Di and I'm only 19! This video helped me so much and is going to help a lot in the future as well as a reminder. Thank you so much for making such a video! Could you please make more videos around the same content? Would love that! ❤

Lots of love and respect🙏
Prachi, thank you for this video. This is very helpful because I'm trying to go the minimalist way. I would love to see some DIYs that you're talking about like the insect repellent and sauces.
Very very useful
This video is so useful. I'll keep in mind ur points whenever I buy next specially about the snack things we buy at home.
Such a good and informative video 👍
is it safe 2 store groceries in food grade plastic containers as steel ones r expensive.
I am also living alone in my apartment and I also don't have most of things you mentioned, my mother used to force Mee to buy more household things, extra furniture and all but I only keep things which are necessary and multipurpose.
Thanks for making this video I can totally relate 👌👌
Pick Up Limes💓
