You can change the text. You just have to double click the text layer and the editing window will open again.
You can also click on the text while the text tool is still active ^^

There's actually a way to get soft edges with the eraser tool without switching to the airbrush subtract method, there is a soft edge option right beside where the correction is, you just click on that while you have the eraser tool on, and there you go eraser tool with soft edges.

Great video! Just a heads up for text, you actually can change the text after you hit submit if you don't like the way it came out by simply double clicking the text and that same edit window pops up again. This makes the tool more feasible to use.

Yes! Another way to edit text after you've already submitted it is by clicking the little cog wheel on the side of the text layer. It brings back up the same text window.

You can edit the text if you double tap on it though
you can reedit the text by clicking the geer icon on the text leyer
you can change the text. look in the layer for the text and some thing will be on the side click it an the tab will pop up again with the text you can change it as much times as you want. you can even move it around
Actually you can edit the text after you place it! If you click on its layer on the side twice the text settings will pop up again and you can change things.

if you have a downloaded picture and you go under file there are options for uploading a image - not the best wording but its there!

I’m kinda slow but what is the selection tools used for like recoloring everything ? Moving things or ? But this video and the other were a huge help !
The selection tools are for selecting areas of your layer/drawing! You can use them to move certain selected parts or to colour the selected areas. The selection tools/functions aren't limited to do just one thing. Hope that helps clear things up 😊

you use the g pen for the same thing I use the oil pastel brush for: blending, LOL. Aparently in this program textured brushes blend better xDDDD

Unfortunately there isn't a liquify tool in MediBang. The closest you can get to liquify is by using the function Mesh Transform which can be found under Select>Mesh Transform!

if you wanna blend you can also pick the blurr pen. i use it but i didn't knew that the g pen is also a pen for blending LMAO

me, a person who uses the same program, but on mobile: hhhmmmmmm checks out (lowkey won't mention you can edit text on the mobile version at least)
yeah, on pc or laptop (which is what I use) I can edit text by double clicking it

You can use your move tool after making the selection, or use Ctrl+T! 🤓

how do you export high quality drawings from medibang because mine just keep saving with lots of pixels and idk what to do
You can check the box "fits in the following size" and set the dimensions to your canvas' original size to export -- you can also make sure your resolution is set to at least 72 dpi if you're just saving images on your device, and at least 300 dpi if you're printing. 🤓

really loved the first and this tutorial.
but I have a question: is there a gallery of previous drawings? I had some problems with other software where it didn't show this kind of "gallery". when I work on a drawing maybe I have to stop because I am busy with something else and if I go back to the drawing I can no longer find the levels I was working on. it is as if the drawing were finished and it was just an image but I had not finished with that drawing yet. if anyone knows, let me know!

I can't tell if you meant layers by levels, or the drawing. But at the top of the canvas it should say Untitled, and you can have multiple when you open up more, and that stuff. But if you close the program it'll most likely auto-save the drawing you were working on, that is if you didn't just open the canvas - atleast from my experience of using Medibang for 5 years. Buut if you mean saving it, and coming back but it just being an image, like png or jpg, are you saving it as mdp?
@@inksssshheyy, as soon as I read your comment, I created a new canvas as a test, I tried to save it as mdp and it worked: the drawing appeared on my desktop as a small icon; then I clicked it and entering MediBang, I found all the layers I had previously created, which, saving as jpg or whatever in the past, didn't give me.
so now, thanks to you, I figured out how to go back over a drawing and finding all the layers I was working on.

Hmmm it could be because you have "layer" selected instead of "canvas" in the option at the top.

Still doesn't explain how you're rotating it. All I can do is resize. Somehow my whole canvas is saved sideways and I can't fix it

Blending is the simplest thing in the world and I can't do it for the life of me. No matter how many times I try I can't get it even slightly correct.
Practice will definitely help you become more comfortable! You can also observe other digital artists, as well as try different techniques since there are so many ways to get a digitally painted look. One of our instructors paints by using the brush on a lower opacity while constantly switching between the eyedropper tool (Alt) and brush to pick up colour, then blend out any harsh lines. You can check out our semi-realistic hair tutorials (also done in MediBang) for an example of that! 😊
