📜 Video Description 📜
Playing poker in the big blind after calling an open means mastering your defence game from out of position. Check/raising, check/calling, and learning range thresholds are a key part of becoming an out of position poker crusher and having a solid red line. In this session my student and I explore some key hands where she defended the big blind and then went on to see the river. - Hry
i love how your explain to her so gentle your a great coach
Hi Pete! After review of my stats (recently got a HUD) I found out, that I was losing huge amounts of BB from the blinds and my red line was tanking reeeeally deep. I then found this video and after watching it and applying the principles often in other positions than the BB too, I played a session winning over 11BB/100 with my red line being way up for the first time. Brilliant stuff, thank you very much!
Speaking of Mark... Are you still planning on making a follow up video with him at some point?
I've just been thinking about this spot all day and now you bring us this, thank you!!
Really excellent content. Thanks.
Thank you Carrot i'm now a Big Boss and I get to stay up late on school nights
Thanks for the great video again. The turn overbet after check raise is quite interesting. I thought pool would overfold to a check raise so when they call they are quite strong. Without a lot of equity i mostly check the turn I also keep bluffing with overcards. Ah you are giving up with the first hand:). I really check raise like a crazy man when villain cbet 1/3.
I like the secret bicep growing tip
Pure gold ❤
13:30 exactly (reffering to the quads against the pocket 9s full on the turn bet) (other video where I commented)
I like the magic secret
Love the magic secret
Love it
what if the pool you play with doesnt use overbets? is it basically getting a bad price on my bluff when this is the case?
i do like the magic secret
Go Jess!!!
On the first node, what turn cards are we barreling instead of shutting down for our exact holding?
Mainly clubs and Tens and Queens that improve our equity I guess
Idk as much about the 89 hand....seems very bluffy if Im V, classic overcard used as a svarecard but how much Kx do you really have here besides Kxc maybe k5s?
Great episode! Jess will be mauling in no time!
Would like to have a hand análisis with you mait 😊
Newww video!!! 😁
Best video!!!
magic secret FTW!
The magic secret is the flops we missed along the way
❤
Dont we adjust at all for the 10bb/100 rake in 25NL RnC? 💀
My adjustment is calling less, and attackng more. Basically very tigh very agressive style.
😊😊😊🎉❤❤❤
*queue the solver nerd voice*
I pio'd the KJ hand out of genuine curiosity. AQ/AJ mix about half on turn, and there is basically zero x/r.
just in case anyone is interested! 🤓
Title is a little misguided, but the content was exceptional. And your coaching style is awesome. Don't let your students get soft!
comment wow commentsss like great wow
donking turn is usually much better than a flop c/r, k9s on jjx with a bd flush has 30% equity you have no nut draws so a c/r is pretty bad, a bd flush isn't the best either if there is another broadway, keep the pot small in these spots
