Guys, let me tell you. You are NOT ready for the “love rap” arc
What about the champions arc? I think the writing on that was peak performance. Plus, it provided a lot of shipping moments with Reporter and Pitcher! And Romeo had some of the best one-liners in the anime ever.

There’s also the Love Lab OVA, that was a really well-done side story. Really wish they got their own spinoff series though

Maybe the story could be a bunch of high school students compete for the best song and performance routine, however they discover by remixing their acts together they form an unstoppable force that can stop the evil Quiz show host from ruining the contest with his bad rhythm games. Along the way the characters meet the legendary Karate Joe and Wandering Ninja to help them become Rhythm Masters. It'd make a better plot than Birdemic at least.
(Edit 8/18/17) I never dreamed this comment would get over 700 likes. I also can't believe I referenced Birdemic. I would still love to watch a show based on Rhythm Heaven. It's hard to believe that when I wrote this there was no guarantee we would even get Megamix in the west. Hopefully the future of Rhythm Heaven is filled with a lot of great games!

Dude, I imagine if there was some sort of Rythm Heaven anime, I imagine it would take place at a high school called "Rythm High".
Each character is there cause of their love for songs/Rythm, like Karate Joe for example, he loves Rythm cause it helps him with his training.
I imagine the plot would be the world losing its sense of Rythm, and so the students at Rythm high try to bring Rythm back to world by showing how Rythm can be useful and by creating songs with nice Rythms.
It would have the usual highschool stuff, like going to a beach, students losing their flow, and them teaching other directly how to use Rythm, like the farmer for example.
The students favorite hangout spot would be the Cafe, with them being good friends with the barista.
The anime would give a back story to some of the Rythm games, like bad mitten, which was made to show how using Rythm, the cat and dog are able to keep a game going during flight, or maybe first contact, which shows Rythm is a universal language.
Honestly, if Nintendo decided to make an anime, I imagine it could be really good, or at the very least decent.
No there favorite spot would be the library. If they need a quiet place to study they would go to the playground.(Direct Rhythm Heaven reference)
