Dayna, Your such a trooper!! Jason your too funny, but I think it’s great that you helped Dayna the day of her surgery!! I love when she said Your being impatient. I liked that you filmed your journey. I almost cried when you were saying how much you love that you can see your feet while laying down. I can definitely tell you seemed very pleased with the outcome and that was only day one. Can’t wait to see how you were on Day two!! May you continue to have a healthy recovery!! Take Care. Thinking of you. 🤗 💐
Thx. Big surgery but the little things are what make it worth it. Thx for commenting and offering kind words
Jason, I know you read these, so I'm going to say this. You are not heartless for getting sleep while she was in surgery. You always support Dayna while she makes content. You were taking care of you so you could take care of her later.
Thank you so much for recognizing Jason's needs as well. I too am glad that he went home to rest and take care of our girls while he waited for me. He needed to be well rested to handle me the rest of the evening! Ha!
I'm glad your husband was able to take care of you for as long as he could. Work for them is so hard, so we are very blessed that Jason was able to take the time off to help me that he did.
Thank you. You’re right. I appreciate your kind words
Wow so many emotions felt during this video, from nervousness during your drive there, to laughter at Jason’s jokes to tears during recovery when you spoke about being able to see your feet. I really commend you Dayna for documenting this journey and being so transparent. I think it’s going to help SO many other people who want to have this surgery. I love how Jason was always so protective over you speaking while still under affects of the anesthesia very sweet! I hope you were able to avoid that hydrocodone , that stuff is rough. Gave me the worst itchy rash I had to stop taking it because of that after my hysterectomy. I’m so sorry you suffer from endometriosis, I had Adenomyosis for many years before my hysterectomy it was awful. My favorite Dayna quote from this video “Today is not the day to be schmuck”😂. Great video, y’all did a nice job documenting the day and putting it together in a video. Love and healing vibes your way!
Thank you for feeling all the emotions that I went through this day. It's exactly what I wanted to express in filming this experience. I know that as soon as I "knew" someone who'd had this surgery done, it became way easier to think about it becoming a reality for me to do the same. If I can help just one person feel like it's ok to have this surgery, then my job was done here!
A family member of mine had this surgery and reacted with the same rash her their surgery too! About drove her insane with all the itching! I KNOW that I would have reacted the same way with the Oxy, so I'm glad I never ended up taking it. (aka, hint: I didn't end up taking the OXY! YAY!)
And yes, that day was not the day for Jason to be a smuck! Ha! He's been so good to me this week, and I'm blessed to have him as my partner.
Dayna is always calling me a shmuck or a douche so it’s hard to know what day it is. Lol. Thx for your comment.
@@TheSaintelias 😂. I use the term “Douche Canoe” a lot in our house. Makes no sense to anyone but it’s funny!
@@1mama402 don’t give dayna any ideas. Lol. 😂
@@TheSaintelias 😂😂
Sending you positive thoughts and well wishes. Once again, thank you for being real and sharing your journey with us.
Thank you so much!
You are so blessed! Your family is so loving and helpful. I’m so glad to hear that the surgery went well. Continued prayers for a speedy recovery. 🫶🏽 Much love from CA!
Thank you. Thx for the prayers.
Thank you so much!
I’m glad your are doing well. Thank you for documenting. I’m gearing up for a week from today.
Good luck!! Since I’m so far on the other side of this, it’s so worth it!!! You got this!!
I’m a little nervous but excited … for the outcome
Wishing you a speedy recovery and hopefully your back didn’t hurt for too long.
Thank you Shauna! My back was only a problem for a few days. It's so much easier to get around now that it's not hurting.
I’m glad to see that your surgery went well. I hope you’re taking it easy and having a smooth recovery.
Thank you! I'm taking it easy for sure!
She is doing well thx.
Nice to see its not all sunshine and rainbows. I needed to see the reality ❤😂
For sure! It’s not a fun recovery, but it is fairly doable for sure.
I am having anxiety watching you in the car right out of surgery. And you are special!! You did amazing!
Thanks!
Dayna! You did it! I am sending you good vibes and wishing you a speedy recovery. Take your time, listen to your body, you got this 💪💗🌺
Thank you so much!! I too am glad that I did it! I'm really taking the time to relax and recover for sure.
So right about listening to one’s body. Smart.
Glad it’s over for her. ❤ hugs and prayers for healing.
Thank you! I too am glad that the hard part is over! Recovery is way easier than I expected it to be too!
Thanks for sharing. Have a speedy recovery.
Thank you!
So glad it all went well and you have lots of love and support with your family and friends. Thank you for sharing your journey. 😊❤
Thank you so much!
U are doing amazing give another few days.An you will be soo happy best wishes for ur speedy recovery 0:09 0:09
Thank you so much 😀
I am so glad it went good. I was in tears with you when you was talking about how wonderful it was to just see your feet. That was the 1st thing I said when I stood up. Jason you did a awesome job taking care of her. Hugs Cindy
P.S. Isn't it wonderful with no side and laying down beside you boob?😊
Thank you so much! Yes! It’s so nice to not have them so big anymore!!
Thx for the kind words.
You're welcome
Good luck. I hope it turns out as you wish. May God guide the surgeon’s hand and hold you tight thru out your recovery.
Thank you so much!
Oh wow thx. The surgeon did well and Al seems to be going wel thank you
Dayna please don't throw up in your car and I am praying that you will get better soon 😊♥️
Good news. She didn’t. She made it home. 👍
I didn't! yay!
Way to go. You’ve done so well. I do have to say that I had to laugh a bit after you’d gotten back in the car. I’ve said some loopy stuff after so I totally get. See you this Wednesday.
She was loopy but refused to admit it. She was grumpy.
I admit I was loopy and grumpy. BUT, I was very conscious of what I was saying! I did appreciate that you were concerned about what I WOULD say though.
Where do I start - this video is filled with such emotion - I have said it before - you are a Rockstar - someone out there will want to see this and learn from it and will make their experience better (just like Hawaii does) -- Jason great job - you guys are a great team! Wishing you all the best each day of your recovery -- Dayna rest rest rest ! Take care you guys!
Although it was a hard day, I'm glad that my emotions of the day came through in the video. I've always wanted to be as transparent as I can, and wanted to portray the reality of having this surgery. The experience is hard, but totally doable!
Jason has been such a lifesaver for me this week! He really has come to my rescue so many times as well as holding down the fort very well. Including the laundry! Ha!
@@daynacreates1105 You had me nervous/crying and laughing all at once (and I knew the results). I know everyone is pitching in to help you on this journey!
Wow so kind. Thx. We try and be there for each other. Rest and she will be well thx for watching and commenting and sharing.
Thanks for documenting this process. I'm so happy for you! 😊 That's what a neighnor kid used to call me, itty bitty titty Lydie. Not funny when you're a young girl.
Oh that’s horrible Lydia! Ha!
Im day 12 post op from explant and lift. 75 years old. Nice video. Hope to get my drains out tomorrow.
You got this! Best of luck to you as you recover from your surgery! Good luck at your appt tomorrow too. The feeling of the drains coming out is so satisfying! :)
I think you put the surgery socks on up side down. The white part is the sticky bottoms. Lol
Funny boy...they had the skid pads on BOTH sides of the socks! I checked! :)
I had surgery 3 days ago and I wasn’t quite as loopy as you. I still haven’t used ice packs. We all heal differently. I’m super bruised thou
Jason kept saying I was loopy, but I wasn't. My back pain was proof of how lucid I was! Ha! I only used the ice packs the first hours I was home because I thought I should. Didn't end up needing them at all. Good luck with your recovery! Take it easy!
Jason, I know that someone else said this but you are not heartless for getting sleep while she is in surgery because you need the sleep to take care of her better and you need to take care of yourself as well.
He really did need to go home to rest before having to take care of me the rest of the day. I was a handful! Ha!
Ahh thx. I really appreciate the kind words. Thoughts and comments like yours are why doing videos like this is worth it. Thank you.
I wish men could feel what women feel / go through.
1000%! They really have no idea! I'm lucky that my husband at least is willing to sympathize with me and recognize my need to do things like this surgery.
O m g... I can't believe they kicked you out that same day,,, Just a couple of minutes afterwards??? WT F !!!???😮😢
It's an outpatient surgery. No need to stay in the hospital. And I was there for a long time after surgery trying to wake up. I'm only filming/showing a few minutes worth of the time that I was actually there. It was all fine. The doctor and nurses wouldn't let me leave if I wasn't ok to do so.
@daynacreates1105
You were drowsy and operated for hours, operation which is not broken nail .. I am glad you are doing well and all that, but everyone should be in hospital at least overnight just to make sure that everything goes well.
@@kosankamaricic2424 given that I was the one who went through the surgery, I disagree that I needed to be in the hospital over night. I was perfectly fine at home in my own bed recovering that same day. If I’d had any complications, the doctor wouldn’t have sent me home. Not every surgery required an overnight stay. There’s no need for you to worry about my experience with this surgery. It all went really well for me.
I have to say this but if I was talking to my husband the way you do my husband he would leave me. I have watched many of your videos and I have never seen Jason talk to you the way you talk to him. All I can say is WOW you disrespect him a lot.
You must not know us very well then, and that’s ok. My husband and I have a fun banter with each other, and it works for us. Not everyone understands it, but you don’t need to. We’ve been together for 26 years, so it must work for us. Also, kind of disrespectful to mention this on the video of my surgery day. But that’s not on me either.
Why would you hate on a person on the day of her surgery??! That’s just mean and hateful. No one has insight into others relationships. All I can say is WOW who asked for your opinion.
@@mgwood558 this is not the day of her surgery, she posts them days/weeks later, all her posts are delayed.
When you put things out for the public they will be scrutinized by others, that is how the internet works. Good or bad
Thank you! So sweet of you to speak up for me!
As I agree with the comment above about posting a negative comment on my surgery video, why bring this type of contention on a video that is so sensitive? Of course it wasn't posted in current time, but the content is still very relevant to current day experiences for me. I'm still recovering, so this isn't something I need brought to the table. I hope you have a better day.
He's so unsupportive
Who? My husband?? Not in the least! Not sure how you got that impression.
