Nasty strats! I love it! But, yeah, minor cooldowns on object possession and a metered pause between when a ghost possesses an object and when they start regenerating P.K.E. faster seem like they're in the cards for future patches.
@@bizzarojerry that might make ghosts unplayable in casual matches. high level players will just run from the ghostbusters constantly.. making a role unfun is going to be a big issue for this game. i wish DEVs would stop nerfing and buffing for pro play .. its detrimental.. and this is coming from high skilled player

I’ve seen this tactic used in a different way. The ghost was moving around the map by hopping from on object to another making it damn near impossible to tether them. And when we would manage to get a tether…BAM….back into an object. Now I know HOW they achieved that….TAP to possess! LOL
@@gaminggecko1689 after the patch CT is a meme . it only serves to separate you from your team and get singled out by a ghost if your team isnt on the same page(for instance someone is working on side missions or a rift) PKE blasts do not provide enough time to create a tether so if theres an object around the ghost can still enter the object and repeated the process
@@SigSoWavy actually the build I use I get at least 2 solo captures every game and whenever the ghost does attack just throw your trap at your feet they usually trap themselves trying to fly through you
i get asked this a lot. and I say the same thing lol. Most seasoned ghostbusters will knock out one rift in the 1st minute or 2. fighting for your rifts as a ghost isnt even a strategy in high tier play because it forces opportunity to get caught
@@SigSoWavy the way I play the first thing I do instead of scaring civilians I hide my rifts and protect them one ultimate ability from a ghost or just an r1 ability can usually down the whole team most of the time and that is the easiest way to increase room haunt
@@SigSoWavy the way you play ghost is almost like your scared of the busters when you know how to play either side is as strong as your combinations and equipment I was level 100 3 weeks into the game and I was using this strat against level 100 ghost busters so I know it’s a good high level strat

i have seen some real weird stuff when it comes to the tether event ..but mostly its the primary tether letting go giving the ghost a chance to escape

Counter this with centralfugal thruster and a good stun from your eke and the ghost can’t escape

Why don’t you care about the rifts if you have all of them up at the end -45 seconds to the endgame timer
