I, too, loved this walk and the escape from the hustle and bustle. It's so cool to be able to explore pockets of nature in the big city. Thank you!
What a wonderful park. Very beautiful 🤗
I enjoyed this lovely nature walk and seeing the groundhog. It's always nice to get away from the city to a peaceful and relaxing oasis. Thanks, JS! 😊
These hidden gems are everywhere. Serena Gundy must have been a nature lover and willingly shared it with everyone. Great Post Johnny.
Thank you so much Johnny! An amazing video, very Beautiful!☺️🦫
Oh Johnny I love nature walks! I will watch this video after work.😀
Toodles!😘
When I lived at York Mills and VP I used to walk here all the time. That groundhog was one of many different animals I have seen in the area - notably foxes and raccoons. Continuing on to the big trestle south of Eglinton is cool too.
Beautiful video Johnny
Fantastic walk. Thank you so much for sharing!! 😊
Hi! Watched on tv. Beautiful walk.
Good evening from Montreal QC and absolutely another spectacular beautiful shooting filming footage compilation walk away tour and thanks again Jhonny ..
Absolutely gorgeous Thank you for sharing this Johnny! 🌻
good morning everyone
A very great day to the Beautiful Johnny Strides & thanks so much for braving your way though the bountiful nature of Toronto's preserved area for all nature lovers! Loved it! Funny when you are asked about directions, more than once & about a picnic area, never mind them picnicking, it will be those buggies which will have a picnic on them!! Those asking must have said to themselves, this guy knows the way around this maze,,,!lol..maybe they should have asked that little critter you ran into along the way, it would know..lol...Everyone should research before entering any wooded area...Thanks again, & hope you cooled off with a good shower!! Cheers & keep yourself safe!! 🥰🥰🦅🦅🦅🦅
Good morning
Right in Toronto, so nice Johnny. Loved the video.
Such a lovely walk, thank you!
Thanks for taking us on the nature walk, certainly a beautiful park :)
Loved the nature walk. You got quite a few questions today. Guess you look like an a man with all the information.😊
Beautiful thank you for sharing:-)
Thanks for the lovely nature walk JS 😊💕
You got that right, you look like who knows directions :D This is probably one of my favorite video in the past few weeks. After so many downtown videos a nature walk is really refreshing, so funny to hear you "whine" about the bugs :D
Really beautiful johnny thank you!!
Nice Video
My old stomping ground Sunnybrook stables. You would find me by the barns checking out the horses or walking along the horse paths or even riding my bike. Enjoying a horse show. Few years ago one barn burnt down due to fireworks and horses were lost and now there is a indoor riding arena. The police horses were also there in another barn. One time going down the embankment I was trying to stop myself and grabbed onto a tree. It was furry. I had grabbed a raccoon. OMG I'm so lucky it didn't bite me. Thanks Johnny
So sad that the stables burned down and killed all those horses. I had somehow forgotten about that. 2018. I guess all the pandemic news in the meantime had wiped out some other notable memories. I wish fireworks were banned. I'm also glad the raccoon didn't bite you! I guess he must've been too startled. LOL, that's a great story though!
Hey, I was going to write something very similar as I grew up at Heights Drive in Donmills, and we practically lived at Sunnybrook every summer 🎉 . Wonder if we knew each other??
@@SilverFox_487 I lived at the 32 Heights Drive
Amazing, we lived at 207, then in the maisonettes unit 110, the Heights Drive. What years?
@@SilverFox_487 I also lived in the maisonettes before moving into the building { first floor }. Plus I was born there before moving away and coming back. around 1973 and before and after. I went to. Greenland road public school until grade 6
Hi John
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
The path to nowhere...someone's got to take it!!
I think it's what they call a "meditation path". I like it, except that big concrete part at the top was kinda ugly! The brick path was really cool though.

Another high end video from Mr strides good work Johnny frankie 43 Bedford
What is the animal at 13.00? Is that a muskrat? I've been seeing them in NJ as I walk, especially near water.
It’s a groundhog.
Rhododendrons = road - a - DEN - druns. It looks complicated but it's actually easy to say once you know it. Nice walk! But my husband was saying you sent those kids way off in the wrong direction, the little path they came out from was the fastest way back to the sports fields, they just had to continue back up that way. That other guy didn't seem to know where he was going either, he added a really long detour to their destination. Hopefully they arrived safely and didn't miss part of their game. Why is it that everyone has cellphones now but they don't use them to find out where they are?
