But she was pretty much a menace as a boss with her monster legs

Probably a large reserve of ideas they thought up ages ago but couldn't implement. Many games have awesome cut content that didn't make it into the release build. Like PGR, some games at least are fortunate enough to keep updating for years (instead of shifting focus to a sequel) so old ideas finally get a chance to shine.
THIS IS EVERYTHING I WANTED FROM A MERMAID CHARACTER. Someone that swims about with an actual fish tail instead of some flowy outfit that mimics it (im looking at you Kokomi and Herrscher of Human). If only I know Chinese, I would have started playing the CN server to get her asap. But I will have to wait 1.5 years for her to come out T-T
Well for herrscher of human she isn't really a mermaid she just looks like that i thing she is inspired to be a mantis like girl as for kokomi welp idk;)
Global is catching up, albeit slowly. So more like a year from now prob. Really looking forward to her though

Elysia isn't even supposed to be a mermaid, so it's reasonable she wouldn't have a tail. Tho, I'm a bit disappointed for Kokomi.

Man, the evolution from her original design to this... masterpiece left me speechless. And in combat it does feel like we're the boss bringing in all the water in the environment. So sick! I will patiently wait for her on GL.
Her oh design was tweaked and made as a skin for her and IT looks good as well
@@wektor2.075 That's so thoughtful of them. I mean I liked the og design, but the new one is just next generation, with the next level animations and expressions. But I have no doubt the old design looks great too now that it's released with her new model.

I have never seen a character as unique as this in gacha games before. A mermaid capable of summoning an entire ocean and swim in it with actual tail🤧???? And the ability to summon a vortex underwater 🤧👌

She looks so beautiful. As someone who grew up loving mermaids having this in a game I like and being able to play as this character is like a dream come true for me. I love that she has a mermaid form! They could've easily made their lives easier and ignore this, I'm so glad they didn't even kept it as her standard form.

They really did Lamia justice; at this rate she'll be Kuro's cash cow. She looks incredible. Not only is she beautiful, she looks strong with great animations too.
It is incredible the impeccable work that Kurogame does and how little recognized it is. After Bianca Abystigma, I hadn't felt as much in love with a character as now with Lamia.
if you noticed, kuro game contents has low view count specially on bilibili because its said the bili is deboosting kuro game because they are not paying enough for to bili to promote theircontent,
like example a supposedly 1000views video of a kuro game content bili limits it to 300,
so if 1,000,000 itll be only 300,000 views

i think Lucia Plume was the one who need to rest ASAP , that girl been caring the Ice meta longer than Luna , we have S Ayla who can deal greater dps than her but overall she still an Amplifier :)
Her diving under the stage in her mermaid form to strike from below is sublime.
The new UI looks amazing. It looks so clean and seems like it'll be easier to upgrade characters now.

I'm just enamored at the fact that we get to play a mermaid...a combat mermaid...and we get to literally bring the ocean to the stage...a very powerful trident-weilding combat mermaid...like Ariel with depression and on steroids

Oh, I'd like to know what you mean by you feel like the other servers get more attention? I play exclusively on the JP server since I've invested a lot already and am therefore unwilling to start over on global so I'm curious about what it is that makes you feel that way

at least from my observation and experience, pgr seems to have more active communities on the eastern side of the world, and on global it only started to get more active recently but before it felt like a pretty dead server. the official global pgr social media teams also dont really push much for marketing i feel like?? i dont see many sponsorships or ads. but i mean that could just be my algorithms never showing me them😭

Wtf her movements are so incredibly fluid (no pun intended) seriously she looks amazing. The effects on her attacks and abilities are awesome.
The fact that she trap enemy in her water domain went she use ultimate is crazy, like is this some kind of punishing virus power that i don't know about🤔
She has already been shown in early chapters to manipulate punishing virus particles in the air. Hence why her boss fight she can make projections of her self.
In her current frame she is probably able to rapidly condense the air around her surroundings to form water along with the punishing virus particles and manipulate it from there

I hope new Lucia will be able to use magic as well, and they should give her a Sailor Moon design or something since it would surely increase her popularity! I'm so excited!
@@As-tray bruh it is confirm that luna gave this new body which means that this is sn enhancement of her previous abilities. I dont recall luna being able to bestow any magic unto anybody let alone something that wouldnt involve punishing virus.
Plus lamia boss form already showed water manipulation in the cutscenes before and after her second phase. If we dealing with lore we know that lamia was human turned construct so doubt construct surgery grants you magic
Im not saying punishing virus cant do hax but saying that her abilities are genericly water magic when no other power form unrelated to the virus has yet to be shown is a bit off

You won't. It's magic, because it's pretty and it sells. So you can stop care about lore, because kuro already stopped.

Plus lamia is literally an ascendant and has been literally quoted in the the story to use the punishing virus for her abilities. Alpha was the only one amongst the ascendants who didnt use the virus in her skills until she turn crimson weave.
Im waiting for you to tell me all the instances where luna, roland and gabriel have used any sort of magical ability.
If it is confirmed luna is the reason lamia got the new frame then clearly magic is out of the question since luna doesnt have any extravagant ability that isnt punishing virus related.

Her LEGGS form is a little clumsy. While her Mermaid form has almost similar attacks they are precise.
Her Core passive brings a freaking THUNDERSTORM.

No character in PGR history, not even the newer ones are as detailed as lamia. The attention to detail/level of detail present in Lamia's design and gameplay far surpasses even the never characters like the fire Lucia, Hanying, Luna void, etc.

I'm so glad Kuro redesigned and revamped her character, her movesets look elegant and finesss
No offence, but her old design with the bulging backhead and torso, supported by those stick legs, looked... nightmarish
If Amberia ever came to be playable, I hope she gets the same glow up as well
I'm pretty sure that was the point of her design, especially considering the conditions that frame was created in (limited resources, experimental tech, the person in charge wasn't that much of an expert, etc...)
Also, Amberia died in Firm night, so there's no chance she's coming back
Her new design looks cool and I did expect some changes in order to maker playable character sell but they could have left the black and red highlights. Fortunately her special coating give resemblances to her former design

They did a phenomenal job on this one, it's just not as unique as the old one was
They did nothing really, it's as generic as it gets. Probably fired their character designer or something and used whatever pretty pictures they found online in like 5 minutes.

@As-tray actually it's not double standards. It's basically Kuro having independent artistic direction without having to pander or virtue signal to the woke.
Just look at most of Hollywood movies nowadays with their "made for modern audiences" style..
i.e. make things woke for the sake of wokism but they sacrifice overall quality esp in the writing/plot dept.
