» WHERE IS NEPHI FROM?
I am native to Bacolod City in the Philippines but in the recent years I have been moving and living a lot in different countries like Singapore, Japan and the US due to the nature of my work. I was in the US when I started this channel but I am currently in Indonesia thus the confusion to some where I am truly based.
» MUSICAL BACKGROUND
Former band vocalist of Akita performing at K-Pub in Ayala Cebu, Philippines (2019-2020)
Former band vocalist of Big Three Band performing in Yokohama 7, Yokohama, Japan (2014-2016).
Former member of the Filipino Voice Symphony (2010-2011) where I was taught by professional chorale singers (e.g. former soprano from UP Madrigal Singers). Our singing group bagged the "Gold Medal" in the International A cappella Championships held in Singapore in 2011.
Former university choir and singing trainer at Technological University of the Philippines Visayas.
» WHAT IS THE GREATER GOAL?
My mission is to promote music among different regions and try to make people from different countries relate to each other through music and singing. I have always believed that even small gestures in understanding similarities and differences towards others actually lead to greater awareness about countries and their people.
In this modern world full of things that divide humanity, it is but perfect to put efforts in re-uniting and building bridges among all of us.

One of the reason I love julie is that she doesn't do unnecessary belts just to impress. She do it when it's needed and when it really fits the song.
Dimash focused on high notes while Julie gave emphasis on emotions 👌✌️😁

Thank you Nephi for reacting to this performance by Julie Anne! Indeed, she proved to everyone that she is versatile! Likewise, this also proved that Juiie can reach G5, F5 and all those crazy notes! Although, belting is not really her forte, she can actually do it! I hope you could react more to her performances in her award-winning concert Julie Sings the Divas. This concert won the Best Concert by a female in the 2019 Awit Awards. She won the Awit Awards Entertainer of the Year the following year too! Some of the notable performances in that concert were her renditions of BROKEN VOW, THE WAY HE MAKES ME FEEL and I'LL NEVER LOVE AGAIN!

nice rendition BUT NOT AT PAR at all with the voice of Lara Fabian... watch the original version and you will see the big difference on how it was sang. Lara Fabian was full of feelings and emotions as she wrote the lyrics to this Tomaso Albinoni composition in 1751 originally titled ADAGIO IN G MINOR. Julie Anne sang it for the sqke of singing the song as she did with BROKEN VOW, another song written by Lara Fabian.
