Delicious Smothered Pork Steaks with Gravy, Jasmine Rice and Buttered Peas. I think that pork steaks are a mid-west thing but if you are able to get your hands on a couple try this recipe. This is a recipe that my grandmother and mother made and it is a favorite of mine. The pork steaks are fried to perfection and made tender by simmering in gravy, add rice, a veggie and buttered bread and you've got a wonderful Tuesday Dinner! i dont know who said tx just getting into it because i grew up in texas watching this being made i dont know one person in tx or louisiana that doesnt cook pork steaks. but then again i run with old heads maybe thats the things these modern folks dont cook most of my peers dont even cook. so maybe thats what it is idk but this looked delicious i may pick up some i havent made them in some time. did i hear you say you are going to make your dog a bee suit??? if so i need to see this

When I researched online it said only those in the MIdwest has them, so that needs to be updated! This is my favorite way to prepare them!
