To clear up misconceptions I’ve been seeing, Neuvillette’s Hydro beam is considered as *Charged ATK DMG.* Ring of Yaxche and Surf’s Up are catalysts that buff *Normal ATK DMG.* While you can use those weapons on Neuvillette for the substats, the actual passives are useless on him due to the different DMG types.
The event weapon in 5.0, Ash-Graven Drinking Horn does work on Neuvillette. Its sub stat is HP% and when the user hits an opponent they do aoe dmg based of 40% of the users HP every 15 seconds. It's alright
ATK scaling weapons sucks because its so easy to obtain extra atk, from artifact sets, characters kits, pyro ressonance, Base ATK on the weapons themselves DEF% and HP% are much better because their boosters are rare, no character till today can buff your HP for example lol

Just want to point out that Diluc doesn't "weave in a skill sometimes" his main and possibly best combo is skill > basic > skill > basic > skill > basic. Most if not all of his dmg comes from his skill/basic combo.

Having this craftable means there will be a new 5* character who will have a better version of this with a similar mechanic (Anemona > Mistsplitter Atk% Bonus) (Sapwood > LoFi EM Mechanic) (FoD > Absolution Bond of Life Mechanic). I can only hope it's another 5* def% sword which is better than Cinnabar and Uraku Misugiri
Bro uraku is lowkey the most versatile sword in the game tho, crit stat - universal, elemental skill buff - universal, normal attack dmg - universal, doubles with geo character, zhongli is easy to slot in, and if xilonen leaks are true, then it’ll be super easy to slot a geo in, so if xilonens sword is even better, that’s kinda crazy

Honestly, free craft able weapons aren't bad but works for some characters. The only weapons really feel bad or useless are fontain weapons, Comeon since beginning of fontain we had bond of life weapons BUT no characters to trigger the passive of the weapons and yet still useless as we lack of characters using bond of life, we have arlecchino, clorinde and sigewinne but yet still stupid thing from mihoyo.

There's plenty of characters who have non-BoL hp fluctuations and Furina gives literally everyone hp fluctuations

Super excited to have a new weapon for Kokomi! I play her as a DPS in a Furina team so every little boost to her normal attacks makes a huge difference!
I love how Hoyo is finally releasing characters that actually align with how the game mechanics work, like no more of this Kaveh blowing up blooms that don’t deal damage stuff
Kaveh is fine though? He's a 4* DPS that works a bit differently because his focus is on Bloom. His kit has two problems (him being an energy black hole and needing C6 to actually pop bloomd at a fast enough rate that he feels comfortable to play), both being things HYV does way too much (energy problems ands need for C6). He interacts well with the Bloom mechanic. People often try to put him in Nilou teams and Burgeon/Hyperbloom and that doesn't work as well, but it's because he should not be seen as a driver, they're just trying to fit him in an ill-fit place. 4* DPSes are always the kind of character that gets powecrept the most, but they shine in that they can still clear content well. Kaveh's kit itself is fine, bar the energy need.

I considered mentioning him, but I think he gets a lot more value when the bow is more EM centric instead of ATK. Plus, he likes to run a second electro. The bow isn’t bad on him, but I personally believe there would be better F2P options
That Catalyst looks really good for my Neuvi ngl. Considering imma finally be able to get Jean this Anniv, I won't need to run him with Amber anymore. I have great ER stats + can't helicopter, so it is an awesome F2P option for him :3

I'd say yes as long as you got a healer with him and you have good ER on him. They both give the same amount of HP% at level 90, you can pick up Jean from the Anniversary reward and Neuvi benefits from the passive in case you aren't able to helicoper his charged attack.

We'll probably just have to test that out but for how the passive works it's similar to the passive for the snow tombed starsilver where when you hit a enemy it launches a addition attack which in this case scales from hp. I don't think it can crit and we don't know what damage type it will be but it's probably physical. Overall the passive seems pretty useless but ig it's some nice addition damage
They won't be if they're locked behind a mind numbingly long and tedious quest like the aranara questline. They could 6 star in power for all I care and I still wouldn't get them😂

@@DefinitelyNotAFerret It’ll really depend on team comps. You can try a test run on some teams with the lower ER and see if it’s enough. If not, you either have to build more or keep using the weapon that addresses energy needs

Someone help me I still don't know who I'm gonna pull for. All I know is I need the polearm for my collection of four star polearms. I'm debating between Chasca, Xilonen, Venti, Kinich, Mavuika, or Columbina.
Really depends on what characters you have and what type of player you are If don't really care much for the meta just pull whoever you like the most If you want to look towards the meta things are a bit uncertain for most characters here, but if there are any guarantees them the pyro archon will probably be really good. Besides that although not confirmed from what I've heard xilonen might be a kazuha level support but geo and combined with the new artifact set she will probably be top 5 supports. Venti's generally not that good for floor 12 but for imaginarium theatre and any abyss floors with enemies which can be pulled he's really good. As for kinich haven't much about him but he's a on field dendro dps and I've seen some people say Emilie works well with him(not confirmed) but even besides that he's gonna be good for any team which wants dendro although from the gameplay shown to us I don't think he'll work with yelan and xingqui so he might be stuck with furina for any bloom related teams.
If you have navia, itto or chiori xilonen is I'd say the best option but if you don't have nahida or alhaitham kinich might be equally as good but we'll have to wait for his release before we can determine that. Venti's a good choice if you struggle with those imaginarium theatre acts where you gotta defeat 32 enemies cuz he's literally the best at handling those stages, and is occasionally really nice in clearing some abyss floors Besides that I can't really give any advice. Capitano might not even be playable, the pyro archon will probably be good and idk anything about chasca. Also if you win some 50/50s or grind a decent bit you might be able to get most of these characters since it seems like the archon might not be in 4.2 this time xilonen is in 4.1and kinich is in 4.0

2:41 since ER time piece is 51.8%, wiggle room. If you don't have Fav Lance at r5 and crit, this Polearm, ER sands, and 6x ER rolls will be great.

Tidal Shadow in particular is a very solid f2p option. I used it on my Gaming and Navia (I run Navia with Furina) until I got serpent spine

For some unknown reason I got mulani's weapon at 2 pity. Should I use that on neuvi ? Currently using r5 prototype amber with 35k hp
I think Proto Amber is still better because of the energy regen. Mualani's weapon is fine as a stat stick, but Neuv can't use the passive.

I think from my calculations, Yaxche was higher in terms of DMG, but Moonglow also has the advantage of energy regen

@@DefinitelyNotAFerret It’ll really depend on team comps. You can try a test run on some teams with the lower ER and see if it’s enough. If not, you either have to build more or keep using the weapon that addresses energy needs

Someone help me I still don't know who I'm gonna pull for. All I know is I need the polearm for my collection of four star polearms. I'm debating between Chasca, Xilonen, Venti, Kinich, Mavuika, or Columbina.
Really depends on what characters you have and what type of player you are
If don't really care much for the meta just pull whoever you like the most
If you want to look towards the meta things are a bit uncertain for most characters here, but if there are any guarantees them the pyro archon will probably be really good.
Besides that although not confirmed from what I've heard xilonen might be a kazuha level support but geo and combined with the new artifact set she will probably be top 5 supports.
Venti's generally not that good for floor 12 but for imaginarium theatre and any abyss floors with enemies which can be pulled he's really good.
As for kinich haven't much about him but he's a on field dendro dps and I've seen some people say Emilie works well with him(not confirmed) but even besides that he's gonna be good for any team which wants dendro although from the gameplay shown to us I don't think he'll work with yelan and xingqui so he might be stuck with furina for any bloom related teams.
If you have navia, itto or chiori xilonen is I'd say the best option but if you don't have nahida or alhaitham kinich might be equally as good but we'll have to wait for his release before we can determine that.
Venti's a good choice if you struggle with those imaginarium theatre acts where you gotta defeat 32 enemies cuz he's literally the best at handling those stages, and is occasionally really nice in clearing some abyss floors
Besides that I can't really give any advice.
Capitano might not even be playable, the pyro archon will probably be good and idk anything about chasca.
Also if you win some 50/50s or grind a decent bit you might be able to get most of these characters since it seems like the archon might not be in 4.2 this time xilonen is in 4.1and kinich is in 4.0
