Amazing way of Educating the young minds
It is requested that difference between mediation and conciliation be revised again with authenticity. In mediation a third party is appointed either through the consent of the disputing parties or Security Council. The third party suggests and gives its recommendations. While in case of conciliation the dispute is referred to a commission of persons to make report and give proposal and to settle the dispute on the findings of that report this is known as the "conciliation "

First of all thanks :) and about CPL, Comparitive public law is the most difficult subject for NET not because it is complicated but because course material is not available in abundance, i will upload CPL full series but right now i am collecting material and reading it on my own. So it will take time, but I'll do it in November for sure.

And what is the second mean of settlement) That means rhe judicial means as ICJ International Court of Justice and international Court if Arbitration these both courts work for the settlement of disputes. And there is a lot difference between their procedures and course of settlement. Lastly, you left to include the "coercion ". You say that states retaliate and extort and reprise etc. But all the means like freezing of assets, blockade of innocent passages of seas, occupation of territories sanctions on trade and commerce and embargoes all these are done by the Security Council also in order to force the wrongdoing state. And it is very necessary to establish the fact of wrong.
