You can also just barrow a character - I think the story allows you to use a high lvl required character. Thats how I did it. I'm stuck on chapter 4 69% through stuck on Licht. lvl 105 green boss

If you went mono blue you'll hard a harder time on killing the witch since you're forced to use Yuno (which I didn't raise) now I can't borrow any stacked fire units.

dont waste leveling asta, you will get a higher version of him just by recruiting him i just got a lvl 100 for mine instead of wasting stuff on him lol
