  • Gives around 6 volts at normal speed. Just above 12 volts to be able to charge. But then with a high drilling speed. It sounds bad and stops immediately if you stop applying power.
Buyed it from Fast Trading LTD Germany.

Very nice video! You make me forget to buy a wind generator! Really, you help me to understand when the generator will give 12v, maybe with 7-8 b wind speed!

Interesting idea. You see the numbers but I agree the angle could have been better. I have had the generator set up on my roof since the video. With a Controller from Instabreeze. It can't even keep the battery charged at 12 volts. This also applies to periods when there are very strong winds. Do you work at the company?

VERY helpful! I cant find any (useful) performance data on this model ANYwhere on the internet But thanks to your test, I dont think I will buy one. Im doing hydroelectric, by the way.

Thank you! Wise, it takes a storm to get it spinning... looked at "Waterlily" for hydroelectric. I will keep it just to have something on the roof until something better comes up för wind harvesting.

@@StellanLarsson - Wow! Thanks for the tip. I looked at the 'Waterlilly' turbine, it is AWESOME. Only problem is, they are not available ANYWHERE. Do you (or anyone) happen to know where I can buy one (or similar)? (I am in Ireland) I am desperate and need a small hydroelectric solution.

@@ichhasseamerika They are only sold by the company in Canada and that's where what you write ended. If you have access to water in motion, I understand that you want to extract energy from it. There are water generators on ebay but don't know anything about them unfortunately. But fight for the best electricity every time provides a fan from a heat pump. So build something is my advice.

this is on 2 Phase 6 Volts 3 phase u will get 12V

It's not the number of volts that worries me. It is that it runs very slowly and vibrates. I am a physics and technology teacher. Has installed solar cells and 3 wind generators. Something is wrong with this unfortunately. It should of course spin easily.

Have you measured the impedance between phases?

@@StellanLarsson I would expect the resistance to be around 1.5-2.0 ohms but the main thing is the resistance between all phases should be the same.

@@kevinmills5293 Thanks I'll check. I still have the generator in the workshop. Working with an own construction for attachment.

Why don't you show the multimeter towards camera. No you won't do that because it's a fake video.multimeter might be showing more voltage

@@StellanLarssonis the turbine 10 meter higher than anything else within 100m radius? You need clean flowing air. A few strong gusts will just make the voltage spike for a second, and not charge obviously.
That said, the i500 is really small to generate 500w. Thats peak in very, very strong wind. Say 20ms+.
All companies name higher numbers than is physically possible. My i1500 does between 200 and 400w max between 6 to 10ms windspeeds, bad location aswell, turbulence caused by nearby trees.

@@Deiphobuzz Thank you sir. Yes, it seems that companies both regarding wind and solar want to show off high watt figures. It seems to be standard to add a zero. Interesting to hear about your generators. Mine sits on the roof and it is of course not optimal. But it spins often. We had a storm and then it went full blast, i.e. just under 50 watts. "DC to DC" is needed for inverters. I am only charging a 12 volt battery. Waiting for me to figure out something to do with the power.
