I can’t believe how much grief Judd gets. He’s an incredible winner and incredible competitor. He’s up there now in ranking titles. I get what he means by he would “rather lose less often” although we all know he needs to win more ‘triple crowns’. Seems like such a nice guy ✅🎱

Not wrong there hes a class act
Most snooker players are very level-headed, friendly and down to earth folk. I reckon it's the nature of the game - to be good at it, you have to be super calm and thoughtful. A lot of more dynamic aggressive sports require people to be loud, aggressive and wired all the time, which seems to naturally attract and also encourage a lot of childish, egotistic and aggressive behaviour. I also think the fact the money in snooker is still so modest compared to a lot of sports helps keep people more level-headed too. Once most folk start getting throw millions and millions of pounds for basically doing F all and being worshipped by tribalistic cults and media pieces, they start thinking they actually deserve all that ridiculous amount of money and attention, which naturally leads to deranged and narcissistic egotism.
Very good episode! Nice to see Judd relaxed and come out of his shell a little bit. Good luck in The Worlds.

Judd is a class act and a genuinely nice lad. I remember the first time I saw him play, it was such a shock bc he was tiny. It was at northern snooker in Leeds and he was prob only 13 but looked younger tbh. I still practice there and there's still a photo of Judd as a kid hung over table 12. Time flies

Unfortunately missed half of Judds lineup due to skipping the adverts. The CZcams stats will confirm this is the case for most.. Shame about this direction quite honestly. I'd rather Patreon a quid or two a month tbh.

That’s the first challenge. I think they (Stephen and opponents) have established that you are allowed to touch other reds but not to deliberately play cannons. Anyone who knows can correct me if I’m wrong.

Strange to hear Judd say he wouldn’t give up his 5x lesser wins for the a World Championship win. I’d give up 10x titles for 1x Worlds, as long as there was no Masters or U.K.’s in that 10. Triple Crowns are all that matters.
Judd's whole mindset in regards to snooker is all about stat-padding. He thinks that being above Davis in overall ranking wins will make him stand out. What he doesn't realise is his current success will not be regarded as highly as the multiple world /triple crown champs with that very scarce major cabinet he's got.

Judd is great, hope he can become a multiple world champion, he deserves it, but the competition is so strong now. Hard to believe Mark Allen has never made the final and Neil Robertson is stuck on one too. Mark Williams on 3 seems wrong too, I'd like to see him level with John Higgins.

That's why the greatest player of all time 🐐Ronnie O'Sullivan & second greatest player of all time Mark Selby has won 8 of the last 13 World snooker championships. They won 4 World titles each ( 2012 2023 ) Judd Trump 1 World title in 2019. Took 15 years to achieve that (2005-2023) 1 world title. Standard is too high for Judd at the big tournaments. Absolute fact and its bloody hilarious!

I just turned 27, from canada. Snooker is so unknown here, pool halls might have a couple tables if you are lucky. American 8 ball dominates in North America. I miss red's and yellows so much (moved from the UK)
