Thing is... MUSIC comes from an actual person.. a distinct and unique human being... and everything ROWDY raps about.. how he raps... And this persona he's invented on the mic is A CHARACTER. It's not him being his authentic self...telling his unique stories giving the people who listen stories from his life. It's like.. AI. ITS LIKE.. putting a mix of different rappers.. into a AI BOT APP... And asking it to make a song. And you would get a rowdy racks song. Which is cool.. but I'm a fan of artists... Who yes can rap.. but are also rapping about their life.. while being their true authentic self. Rowdy has said multiple times he hardly even drops n bombs IRL... It's not a part of his everyday vernacular, and that when he creates music his approach is to do the same kinda rap.. he would wanna hear from his favorite artist. To me ... That's kinda wack. And definitely generic ASF. I mean it's coo to put a RR song on and hear him hold his own with suga free.. or make songs where he drops n bombs every bar... But then you watch this guy in an interview.. and he's nothing like the music he makes. It seems like it's all just A CHARACTER.. an alter ego if you will . That he morphs into... When he makes records. And then because it sounds good people like it . But I'm not a fan of rappers who can ONLY RAP . There's a million mfkas who CAN RAP on a technical level.. good ASF. But maybe they're j cats.. or weirdos.. or they leave cats in freezers.. or whatever tf.. so they just never pursued life as an artist.. cuz they know BEING A RAPPER . Is about more than just the music. Either way ... I agree .. RR isn't as crazy as everyone makes him out to be...he's just an anomaly so ppl find that interesting... And they become a fan cuz they wanna see someone who likes them... That can keep up with the brothas. And then LEFTY did play a huge part in his success.. and he definitely should at the very least acknowledge it.
