This video helped. I was so close to selling my 1.0, since I got a deal on a 2.0. Now, I am keeping him. He's still one of my favorites. I guess I now have the SDCC 1.0, 1.0 and the 2.0.
I prefer the 2.0 here. The face looks much more accurate in my opinion. The budget cuts they’ve had to make were unavoidable, but they’ve been doing great with current releases and giving us ki effects and nice shading in figures that need it the most (Cooler and the recently released 4th Form Frieza).
1.0 has the best shading, nice one piece sculpted armour, better accessories and is more accurate in height. 2.0 has better colours and articulation, but that's it.
Some of my SHFs seem to have the dreaded ‘white dust’ you occasionally get on figures made from PVC plastic. Generally you can wipe it off, but with figures like Gaara from Naruto, there are parts of the tunic that have become kind of discoloured. It’s not a one off, because I recently bought a second MIB Gaara which has the same issue.
1.0 is vastly superior in practically every aspect. Those who say the 2.0 has better faces must be drunk cause neither have accurate Saiyan saga style Vegeta faces.
I still like the 1.0 due to it having shading and so much accessories

This 1.0 is the only one in the line that I haven't replaced in my display, it just looks way better next to Nappa than the 2.0 IMO, too bulky.

Yeah the faces are nicer on the 2.0 aye! Would be cool to get an updated version with the ki blast etc in the future though.

Since this seems to be a trend, I’d like to see a comparison of Either premium color edition Vegeta or original 1.0 ssj Vegeta vs 2.0 ssj Vegeta.

This might be an unpopular opinion, but I personally like the 2.0 because it's more of an anime look. The 1.0 just has too much shading for me.
Yeah the 1.0 is a bit strong in parts for the shading.
I don't like shading.

The old ones were great! Sadly tax in Japan has gone up lots since then so I guess it was the first thing to go to keep prices down ;(
They should make a 3.0 since the face on the 2.0 kinda in my opinion doesn't look accurate to the saiyan saga art style
