it's interesting that she thought "yeah, a sketch where I go to visit a fan to make them feel better sounds fantastic" when she has neglected a dying fan in the past because she was too busy to arrange a video call. just seems like a little extra reflection may have been needed here, not that I'm surprised it's lacking.

@@kat_kami A young fan with cancer who didn't have much time left was put in contact with Sniperwolf. Sniperwolf said she'd do a FaceTime with the girl and every time the mom tried to set up time to do the FT with Sniperwolf she always came up with an excuse that she was to busy but was posting on Instagram that was going out with friends and family. Well after waiting for like a week, the mom of the fan got fed up and told her if your not gonna call why waste our time. To which sniperwolf said she wanted to do devote a good amount of time to the fan but seeing as the fan was within her last days to keep pushing it off more and more there was no certainty that the fan would make it to the next day. Word got out about Sniperwolf blowing off the fan and so she sent the young fan a like 5 minute video and the young girl was so excited and sadly only a few days or so after Sniperwolf sent the video the young girl passed away.
A lot of people are mad Sniperwolf blew up a dying child essentially and kept saying she wanted to devote a lot of time to actually talking to this fan just to end up sending her a 5 minute video to which she could have done before hand instead of pushing it out when the fan had very little time left to begin with.

Adoption is a possibility, but her mother at least doesn't come across Japanese and that's the only parent we see. And regardless, being adopted by parents of a different ethnic group will usually result in the child being raised with specific cultural practices in that group. It would still be kind of racist on the bullies' part even if she isn't actually Asian.
