    why is it advantageous to have a dynamic ip on a server?

      Thanks for watching! It's not inherently better to have a dynamic IP at all. This is for cases where you are constrained to a dynamic IP, such as if you are hosting in a home network, or are opting for a dynamic IP to cut costs.
