- Hey there! Happy Friday! I've been getting a lot of questions lately from folks who are just starting out with TwinSAFE projects and need some basic guidance. If you're one of them, I've got you covered!
I created a quick demo that covers the absolute basics of getting started with TwinSAFE. 🚀 It only takes about 6 minutes, so check it out if you have some time!
I want to be clear that this demo isn't meant to represent the finished product of any safety function. It's just my personal workflow, and you'll even see that I don't usually add a PLC to my projects. Instead, I prefer to add a task with a process image.
And don't forget to like 👍, share 📩, and follow 🔔 if you want to stay up-to-date on all things TwinSAFE. Have a great weekend!

Hello! Good information, Another sopport I can't find, Do you know how to copy a total of *.sal? If I have a zone with ("Alias Devices" and a *.sal) and for an example it's Zone A and I want to copy it to Zone B and it's the same code but a different Zone. Regards Lars
Hi! From the TwinSAFE project icon, you could right click open the file folder view and do a copy/paste there. However, I'd consider user function blocks instead.
I followed your steps exactly, but when i want to link the alias devices to the tasks, it is greyed out and it states "not available". Im using a el6910 aswell and i am trying to communicate to a custom slave over a ek1110 with FSoE. Any ideas?
I'm not sure exactly what you're seeing, but it sounds like you're trying to connect the Alias devices before the target is defined.
I did define the targer. But i had two issues: The Dip-Swotches on the EL6910 were configured to address 0 and the custom slaves ESI File was not imported
