It’s always a good idea to disable the ignition coils when preforming this test to avoid a fire.
charles hotchkiss I completely agree. A lot of engines (marine in particular) will have a grounding stud for the plug wires to help prevent this from happening.
Yeah what do you just take out the fuse for the fuel pump?
Did you ever figure out what the issue was? I am having the same problem with the same cylinder. Do you know the cost to fix it?Thank you
The problem with this engine was a burnt piston. We replaced it with another engine so I could not give you an accurate repair cost.
