It’s totally like Ellis Island except for you know all the free medical care, housing, education, travel, legal services. Oh, and qualifying for public assistance, a photo ID, and drivers’ license. Also, providing an interpreter or translation everywhere for everything. Then there’s the taxpayer funded “non-profit” organizations & advocacy groups offering migrant assistance. Can’t forget the sanctuary laws and federal policies supporting mass migration. Ya know, now that I think about it, Roosevelt Hotel isn’t like Ellis Island at all. It’s almost like only an stupid person would say that

No, it’s not a new Ellis Island. People who came through Ellis Island entered the country legally. My ancestors entered the country legally, were properly documented and gained their U.S. citizenship.

I live in a shelter with Migrants and they have the following in common without fail: rhinestone manicures and authentic designer handbags, all at the expense of hardworking NYC Taxpayers. Smh
