    Exactly. That is exactly how "they" think of us. I keep telling people they are trying to roll back the clock. If you don't vote, you need to start paying attention.

    It's a racualization of labor. They to it to mexicans too. People think we will cast off our dignity to immigrate here and work the jobs no one else wants to do. They think we will pick fields do gardening, construction and any other job that is erroneously perceived as undesirable. We just do work because it's available to us but we do have aspirations to do more than fulfill a stereotype.

    Crazy, because Immigrants who come to this country for a better life also end up in those jobs. But my brain did break when Trump said that and I had to reinstall Windows Vista on my beeper.

  • @racqueldillon3560
    @racqueldillon3560 Před 20 dny +13

    I'm not a fan of either of these guys. They are just all we have to chose from at the moment. But I'm here to remind us that under the Trump administration the US LOST 2.9m jobs. Under the Biden administration the US gained 14.8m jobs. Now, we havent talked about the percentage of those jobs that pay a livable wage because, in my opinion, that matters. But the fear mongering about so-called black jobs being taken if Biden wins another term is crazy considering that another Trump administration means there arent any jobs to take, if history is any indication. Biden and Trump aside, the most significant job growth in the US has ALWAYS happened during Democratic administrations. Btw, all of this info is easily accessible via the dept of labor.

      @@cjxgraphics Wow, you really don't know history. I guess you've never heard of the Blue dog coalition; I bet you never even heard that the Democrats actually voted against the 1964 civil Rights act. I could go on but I don't think you're equipped for this argument. P.s. Democrats split their vote 152 (61%) to 96 (39%) while Republicans split theirs 138 (80%) to 34 (20%). The no vote consisted of 74% Democrats. Clearly, the 1964 Civil Rights Act could not have been passed without the leadership of Republicans such as Everett Dirksen and the votes of Republicans
