    Thanks for posting this.
    That's the best log arch set up I've seen. You can use it to move logs on the highway. not need separate loader or unloader, and keep them clean.

    Your design has all the bases covered! Fantastic job!

    I have one similar to that. Mine isn't as heavy as yours. I made it out of 2"x3"x.250" wall tubing. And of course mine doesn't have forks. Looks good my friend! 😉

    I have a very similar log hauler but the addition of the forklift is a game changer for me! I use a small diesel Kubota backhoe that I've broken the frontend loader hydro cylinders before so am always cautious about overloading - the forklift would be a great addition for those 2000+ lbs loads and things that wont fit easily in a half-yard bucket - Well Done!

    Nice set-up. I like how you took the weight off of the winch while traveling. Good idea.

    That is pure awesomeness just ordered a mill was trying to figure out how to load 30” diameter logs. That’s the best thing I’ve seen. But are you putting out a video of the build?

    Chris, now make part 2 , using you log arch to load your saw mill.
    This is a log cheaper than a high dollar bobcat.

    Mr. Euart, did you happen to make plans for this,? can I buy a set from you, at a price I can afford, or even do you happen to have another one of these just sitting around , this is the only one I have seen that I really like how it works, , Fantastic job on the build.

      Sorry, no plans on paper. My son Jason and myself put our heads together one day and a couple of weeks later, there it was. It started out as just an arch, then the need to load logs on our mill came along. Jason was able to purchase some old fork lift forks for scrap price so we came up with the fork lift attachment. We have also added another attachment since the video. It is a 22 foot boom that we came up with to place a 24 foot I beam for the opening to our mill shed. It has came in handy for a number of other tasks that have come up. It was a lot of trial and error to build but if you go by the video, you should be able to duplicate it. Thanks for the compliment.

    How would you get this through the woods?

    • @chriseuart6719
      @chriseuart6719  Před 2 lety

      You're right, it doesn't go through the woods real good without a wide area clear, but if we are close enough, we winch it out to the clearing.

      @@chriseuart6719 you did an excellent job building it for sure. I built one arch we pull with a sideby side. I’m gonna build one more arch to improve on the first one. Gonna use trailer axle/ hub so it can handle more weight.
